Reviews for Leeward Bay Marina
Old, tired vessels here, 2011-04-24
Captain: , Bend, OR (24)

Most of the boats in this marina never leave their slip. The trains sound their horns everytime they cross any vehicle passage area, including the marina entrance, and they are over 100 db even at a distance away. The docks are all wood and one must be careful of splinters. There is a lot of floatsam that washes in and out with high and low tides, and there is a strong current with the ebb and flow. Thus, the price for slips is probably the lowest in the L.A./ Long Beach harbors.

Poor location and noisey, 2010-11-12
Captain: , Long Beach (282)

This marina is way out in the last leg of the basin. There is a car carrier unloading terminal next door and trains are going through blowing thier horns all night. It's cheap but you will not get much sleep if you stay abord. Many of the boats are in their last days and neglected. This is where many go just before the crusher.
