Reviews for Lansing Marina
Lansing Municipal marina, 2016-09-23

The first 5 docks have been upgraded. We were on Dock 6, which is older and wood, but still servicable. The heads were "portalets". The shower was what I would say is "OK"--but not up to what I think should be standard. The dockmaster was very friendly and helpful.

Going to "Horsefalls" variety and clothing stores are an experience which all should undertake! Probably the most crowded stores you have seen--and anyone will find something to buy!...

Grocery store about another block up the main drag.

Nice staff, great stop, good Tiki Bar, 2016-07-18

Stopped at this marina during a trip and was pleasantly surprised. Really helpful and friendly staff at the gas dock, nice docks (aluminium), 30 and 50 amp power, 2 grades of fuel available, and pump outs. They also have a nice tiki bar that is open from about 4:30pm until close every day. They run BBQ specials on some days (on-site smoker) that we heard were very good, also have bar style pizza available anytime. Marina is somewhat shallow with lots of weeds. They have about 100' of dock space for transient dockage, so a good idea to call ahead for a reservation. The town itself is charming with a surpising amount of things to do. Several bars, restaurants, a gas station, as well as a full grocery store are a fairly easy 5-6 block walk. I would recommend this marina for a short stop over or even extended stay.

Friendly people. Basic place with a small bar and grill onsite. Midwest hospitality and reasonable fuel prices.

Stayed on a face dock 9-12-2015 with our 42' trawler. Not very deep but OK. Some exposure to wakes from the main channel, but not too bad. Dock and power both decent. Toilet facility basic and not very clean, but probably not fair to judge because there had been a city end-of-summer party that night and the restrooms were available to the public (not just slip holders.) Very friendly local houseboaters invited us to share in their fish fry.

Good place to stay, 2015-09-07

Got fuel and paid for moreage at fuel dock. Restrooms a bit of a walk and a bit small, but adequate. Older docks have been thru a flood or two but still serviceable. Tiki Bar had smoked babyback ribs on Wed night, so we had a great dinner there.

Stopped in for a overnight & fuel, got in after 9:00 pm. A local couple was on their houseboat & gave us the managers phone # so we could call in the morning for diesel. We were on the channel side of the dock & had no problems with wakes from tows, of course after a long day we may of slept right thru any. They were out of diesel but called a fuel truck to bring some out, we topped off the tanks & got a later start than normal.

Since my first arrival in 2000 this marina has been improving slowly over the years. More improvements are necessary but they are working on them. New management started in 2009.

Not much else in area. Has diesel on the dock. Docks have improved but still below average. Transient slips are on the channel and no one slows down. Showers and toilets are poor.
