No Macs Milk Store , 2016-05-21

The Macs Milk store has been converted to an Armandos Pizza Restaurant. Nice restaurant but now there is about a 1 km walk to the nearest supplies.

You must check in at the gas dock on your starboard as you enter. There you will pay and they will assign you an area. Inside on the wall is no longer available as it is full with seasonals. You will be directed to the 2 fingers back in the hole in front of Lillys. It is pretty tight back in there and boats come and go using the restaurant. Had I not already paid I would have left after seeing all the goose and ? poop. After docking, (don't expect help) we told them about the docks and the friendly girl said they had been cleaned yesterday, but they would clean them again today. When we came back in the evening they had been cleaned but they were again dirty by morning. I don't know what the solution would be but after being out for a month these were the worst for goose problems. They had 2 fixed piers maybe 100 to 150' long in good condition and the restrooms and shower rooms were also in good condition. Rate was 1.75 a foot. Seemed a little high for the end of september. They still do have a midweek special, 3 nights for $100, which we have done in the past.

Been keeping various boats here for over 10 years. Lately the service has fallen below acceptable levels. Management is poor and the trickle down to the staff is evident. Would not recommend it as a stopover.

A good place to stopover, 2013-06-17

With the lower water levels, this was one of just 3 marinas we found on the Cdn side with enough water for us. There's a 2 kt current at the entrance. The gas dock is to starboard as you enter. Larger boats can also be accommodated on 'the wall' to port when space is available. Call well ahead for reservations. There's a good restaurant onsite and two more within a 10 minute walk. Fuel was $1.34/L for diesel on June 11/13. If there are showers, we couldn't find them. Staff and people are friendly and we would return here.

Far from groceries/beer. Very busy fuel dock, not a lot of transient space.

not cheap but probably the nicest on the Candian side

Nice place, i've visited many times, 2011-08-09

very nice helpful staff. Lilly Kazilly restaurant on site is really nice hangout and good food until late night. outer wall is solid with great views. docks are low, in good shape, if not spotless from a bird poo standpoint. water in corners, ends of docks usually pretty poluted and smelly from fish, but ok at outer wall typically used for transients. store next door, but that's about it for visiting, besides the beach and kids play park.

An easy tie up on the long outer fixed dock. A lond walk to the office. Very helpful and friendly people. A good restaurant right on the marina, a Macs in easy walking distance. Town is quite a walk though.

Nice facility on the shore of windsor, 2011-07-03

Very nice people, slips, and store/bathrooms.

Good municipal marina, 2011-06-29
Captain: , Toronto (203)

Transients register at fuel dock (starboard tieup with fenders high - it is not a floating dock). Moderate price (1.50 per ft), no wifi. Clean facility, well protected. Great showers. Decent restaurant on-site. Not convienent to downtown.

Great updates, 2011-06-13
Captain: , Windsor, Ontario (34)

Recent updates, all New picnic tables, tree planters along lake wall, better security and service.
Been in this marina for four years and it keeps getting better, city is doing a great job. Best in the area on the Canadian side.
