Reviews for Lake St. Clair Metropark Marina
Very Pleaseant Surroundings, 2015-06-24
Captain: , St. Clair Shores (121)

You are literally in the metropark. Very comfortable and parklike surroundings. Picnic tables and grills wihin easy access. Bring your own food as there is nothing close by. Enjoyable approach coming down the channel.

Great harbor of refuge....if you ever need it, 2012-09-22
Captain: , Grosse Pointe Farms (260)

Total protection from any size storm. Beach is fun & family-friendly. One fo teh most beautiful MI state parks IMO...

Shallow Approach but Worth It, 2012-07-25
Captain: , Newport News, VA (60)

Our depth sounder read a little under six feet in parts of the entrance channel. It's a huge park with lots to do for all ages. We stayed on July 15, 2012 in the new south basin (rate $53 for our 42' boat; would have been $28 in north basin or stay on the wall with no electricity overnight for $12).

Nice park popular on summer weekends, 2011-10-14
Captain: , Algonac, MI (1659)

Played golf at the par 3. Park is very crowded on summer weekends. Marina is very well kept and a nice overnight getaway.

Good Place for a visit, 2011-09-09
Captain: , Mac Ray Harbor (120)

The new Horseshoe docks are incredible - 45 ft and full 18 Beam. Lots to do for the entire family. Bring your scoooters, bikes, Roller Blades, and running shoes. Great pool with slides - although their rules are a little much. The Beach is really nothing that I would go to (issues with the water in the past). Par 3 golf course as well. Well protected. You can even go and park on the 'wall' for the day and have a picnic for $6.

new south basin open, but North now closed, 2011-08-09
Captain: , Detroit (720)

old north basis was pretty bad, but great views. new south basin is awesome. new big bathrooms and 45ft long docks with plenty of beam. beautiful facility now.

Metropolitan Beach Marina, 2011-04-03
Captain: , Hammond Bay (1841)

Nice clean, well managed marina that is cheaper than most. Services are limited as gas and diesel is not available. Extremely well protected from winds. It is a long ways to any retail stores or restaurants.

Metro Beach, 2007-02-02
Captain: , Lake St. Clair (177)

Great park for the family, all boat pay the same price for dockage weather it be on the seawall or in a dock. Can pay in 4 hour blocks or overnight 24 hours, which cost $23.00. Fuel is not available but they do have a pump-out for $5.00 per tank doesn't matter what size. Restaurants are not within walking distance and neither are supply stores( About 1 miles away). Need a bike or taxi.
