Reviews for King Harbor Yacht Club
Informal and welcoming club, 2014-11-29
Captain: , Coronado, CA (465)

This club reciprocates and has an extended guest dock available. However, there are only a limited number of electrical hookups on one section of the dock. The club is very active and relaxed. Food is moderately priced and the location is escellent for access to Redondo and Manhattan Beach areas. Easy walk to busses and the strand.

Great place to visit, 2014-06-21
Captain: , Georgetown, SC (616)

We spent three weeks here in May 2014. Super accommodating staff. They offer three nights free docking at their guest dock for Southern Calif clubs with whom they have reciprocal privileges. They recognized our east coast based club, offered full use of their facilities, and charged only $1/ft/night for dockage.
We wanted an extended stay to see the tourist attractions offered in the area. The dockmaster found a slip, unused by a member while his boat was in the yard having work done. Put us in contact with both the member and the marina staff to make it happen. Couldn't ask for better assistance.
The bar is open everyday, but the dining room serves dinner only on Thursday night, with a limited, pre-published menu. They also serve brunch on the weekend.
A very active racing club.
The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is the limited dining room service. Definitely a place worthy of a return trip.

Outstanding Yacht Club, 2011-02-11
Captain: , Marina Del Rey, CA (259)

King Harbor Yacht Club sits on the end of the breakwater with spectacular views of the pacific ocean and the harbor. The club is very active, with racing and cruising and social events throughout the year. Club includes full bar upstairs and restaurant with daily meals downstairs. Great group of people - it is always fun to visit this club.

If I were to join a yacht club, this would be one that I'd join!

Friendly place to visit, 2009-05-19

One of the friendliest YC we've visited.
