Don't Use These Guys, 2008-01-21
Captain: , Boston (16)

Two years ago, I asked them to winterize my boat—basically take care of the fresh water system and the outboard motor—and scribe a new waterline for me. When I went to inspect my boat, the batteries had been removed, even though I had not asked them to store the batteries for me. When I called to ask where my batteries had gone, they told me they had been removed for winter storage and asked me when I'd be paying for that service. I asked that the batteries be returned to my boat, and when I checked, the batteries had been returned, but they had not been reconnected. In addition, the guy who had put the batteries back aboard had left my boat unlocked.

These guys do terrible work, leave your boat a disaster, and they don't keep verbal agreements. They also try to commit you to services that they haven't been hired to do, and they've also overbilled other people I know who used them repeatedly. They've also screwed up most of the work that they've done for people at my marina—to the point where several have talked to lawyers about it.
