Reviews for Kammerman's Marina
nice quick stop, 2016-10-26
Captain: , Sandusky, OH (360)

Very helpful staff high volume fuel and they sell a ton although at the time the City Marina was 70 cents gallon cheaper they helped with a local mechanic that had us going the next day check depths going in neat ships store

Great place to stay in Atlantic City, 2016-10-23
Captain: , Little River , SC (30)

Stacy and Chris Kammerman could not be more accomodating for our stay at their place. Stacy brought us to a local restaurant for dinner. They helped us connect to Uber so I could get a ride into town for parts for our boat. Friendly, outgoing people and all around great place to stay on our way to travel South.

Management response:
Thanks so much for staying with us and the great review! Hope to see you again soon!

Great fuel stop, 2016-10-17
Captain: , Erie, Pa. (1896)

Been buying fuel here for quite a few years. Always very competitive,
will negotiate for volumne. Good people & helpful. Posted price on 5-11-13 was 4.499 but again depends on volumne, gave me best price I could find, will always stop here for fuel. Have previously stayed on fuel dock overnite, good power & restarant nearby.

5-2-16 Stop here for fuel again. Best price north of Virginia/Cheasapeake. Good people, family owned.

10-2-16 Stayed here 6 nights departing 10-2-16, brand new power box providing 250 volts per 50 amp plug, good depth about 10' at low tide, best price fuel and willl negotiate for volumne. Local ownership and great people!

10-2-16 Here 6 nights for weather, departed 10-2-16. Cannot say enough good, always have stopped for fuel first time I docked here, Stacey and Chris are terrific, could not do enough for you. New power boxes with 250 volts available, best I have ever seen. Water pressure is great! One million $ upgrade in plans with all new floating docks. Family owned and helpful. Great stop.

Management response:
Good to hear we've been able to offer great fuel prices & service for you! Looking forward to serving you again.

Thanks so much for the great review! Always a pleasure Captain Gary! Thanks for the suggestion and install of ring and sliders too :)

Stayed one night, 2016-10-15
Captain: , Bristol, RI (386)

Yes, they are nice people, and yes, they are helpful. And yes, this is a good place to get fuel.

BUT that alone does not make a 5 star marina. The facility needs help. The floating dock and gangway is old and tired. It does not float level. The fresh water and power did not work without the help of the marina staff. The restrooms are awful. They are not clean. They are small, especially the lady's room. And they are poorly equipped, i.e. no shelves, inadequate hooks, etc. The only restaurant within walking distance is more than a mile away.
Would not stay here again.

Management response:
So sorry to hear about your disappointment. I wish you would have mentioned it when you were here. Hopefully, I can address all of your concerns. While we do check the bathrooms often, thanks to your comment, we will put a plaque on the wall in the bathrooms requesting customers to let management know if they are not perfectly clean. Also, we were unaware that three hooks in each bathroom was not sufficient, so we will be adding more hooks and shelves in the bathrooms. The closest restaurant is exactly 3/4 of a mile away or about a 15 minute walk and we always offer to drive customers there. We are also adding a bar and grill on the property next season. We do keep the breakers off at the power pedestals for safety reasons, which is why Chris needed to flip the breaker on for your electric to work. The water is always available with a hose at every pedestal. Thank you for taking the time to help us improve our marina!

Great place very friendly & helpful, 2016-10-03
Captain: , Miami (10)

Very nice place quick from the inlet

Management response:
Thanks so much for the review!

Feels like home, 2016-09-17
Captain: , Charleston SC (120)

Best service! Feels like home. A small marina but with all you need. We tied to the fuel dock for the night. Owners and staff were more than helpful! Make sure you say hi to Ron and wish him well in the Marines! Good luck Ron!
Current moves fast in the channel but there is enough room to adjust. Tide at the fixed dock we were on (I think they have floating too) drops 4 feet at low so set lines as necessary...again staff knows whats up here and very helpful. Piles all have new rub rails no need for fenders.
All and all a great family run business! If you dont leave feeling like you are part of the family...you missed something! :)
Thanks for everything.

Stay safe Ron!

Management response:
Thanks so much! It was our pleasure! Hope to see you again!

Kammermans Marina- The Absolute Best, 2016-09-01
Captain: , Ft Lauderdale Fla (10)

Being a delivery capt. since 1982, myself and other captains all know the best marinas to stop for fuel and dockage. Chris and wife Stacy operate the maina now since Chris's father Les Kammerman past on a few years ago.
Is it the fanciest marina on the East coast ? No. Is there a resturant on site ? No. Are they the finest people you will ever meet ? Yes, Yes, Yes !!!!!! They go out of there way to accomodate you and your crew. If you have boat problems, they will help you any way they can. Need a ride somewhere, they will take you. And always with a smile !
In 1997, I left Christmas Day, early afternoon from N.Y. heading to Fla. on a boat delivery. I called Les Kammerman before hand and asked if it would be possible to get fuel Christmas night.
His responce: Billy, I am having Christmas dinner at my daughters house. When I am finished with dinner, I will knock on the boat and fuel you up ! At 11:00 pm, there was a knock. It was Les !
I highly doubt you could get that type of service anywhere else. If you like to be treated like family, stop and see Chris and Stacy. I consider them part of mine !

Billy

Management response:
What a thoughtful and fabulous review Capt. Billy! It's always a pleasure when you can stop in for the night. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
p.s. Soon we will be a little fancier :) Dockside Bar & Grill coming soon!

Great people, great service, 2016-09-01
Captain: , Brick, NJ (193)

Fueled up here many times - people are friendly, accommodating - it's very easy to get in and out - and they are a BOAT/US Co-op Marina.

Management response:
Thanks so much for taking the time to give us a great review! Hope to see you again!

Great marina, 2016-09-01
Captain: , Virginia Beach, Va (10)

We have been traveling from Virginia Beach to Atlantic City for several years now. We always stop at Kammerman's. Stacey is always pleasant and helpful. They also have pretty decent fuel prices as well. Highly recommend stopping there if you are in the Atlantic City area.

Management response:
Thank you so much for always coming back to Kammerman's! We appreciate your business and this great review!

Great family run marina, 2016-08-31
Captain: , Atlantic City, NJ (20)

As a delivery captain, I usually know which marinas to go and get the best service and prices. From your first contact with Kammerman's Marina, you are treated like family

On the day before that I was to start a delivery, I needed to top off my fuel tanks. As time flies I didn't realize how late in the day it was. I called Kammerman's Marina and Stacey said that they were already closed, but that she would stay and give us fuel and whatever else that we needed. Being a family run business, you always get a caring and personal experience at Kammerman's. Thanks Stacey, I'll be back.

. Stacey and crew will guide you to a very nice stay in AC.

Management response:
So happy to hear you're happy with our service and prices! Thanks so much for stopping in Capt. Spence. See you next time! Thanks again!

Great people and easy in and out , 2016-08-31

Management response:

Kammerman Marina - Atlantic City, 2016-08-30
Captain: , New York, NY (10)

Kammerman is a small owner operated marina. The kind you used to see before the big corporations gobbled them all up. Most days the owners themselves will meet you at the dock. It's a great place to get local knowledge if you are not from the area.

Management response:
Thank you very much for the great review! We appreciate you coming to Kammerman's and look forward to seeing you again!

A Great Place to Stay, 2016-08-30
Captain: , Fort Worth, TX (50)

Kammerman's owners are determined to have every guest enjoy a wonderful experience at their marina. They are accommodating, helpful, and delightful people whose hard work and integrity has revitalized a business damaged badly in Hurricane Sandy. You will love staying at Kammerman's.

Management response:
Thanks so much for the fabulous review Capt. David! We had a great time chatting with you both. Looking forward to seeing you on your next voyage!

great family business!, 2016-08-28
Captain: , solomons maryland (30)

We stopped in for fuel and a overnight after as 6 day run South from Detroit! We decided to lay up at the fuel dock overnight after meeting the owners! Wonderful welcoming folks and they even stopped in for a visit after work. Great fuel price and very accomodating in every way! We'll be back!

Management response:
So happy to hear you'll be coming back to Kammerman's! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Pretty great view of AC Harbor and casinos - quaint and comfortable., 2016-08-16
Captain: , Green Island, Toms River, NJ (10)

We brought two vessels to Chris and Stacey's place last week and had a great time. The floating docks we used there overlooked the casino's - allowing us a view most people never see. The facility was quaint but had clean amenities (bathroom & showers) and a convienence/boat supply store and fuel. Walking distance to restaurants and shops was convenient and we felt very safe and confident staying at the marina. Kammerman's plans for expansion is very exciting and with their management style will still feel like an on-water B&B. We are already talking about a return visit.

Management response:
So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for the great review. Hope to see you again soon!

try it you'll love it, 2016-08-09
Captain: , baltimore (91)

This is the place to see a side of Atlantic City you may not have seen before. Nice restaurants and charming little shops and local people. The marina is also charming and clean and Stacy and chris, the owners, are two of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Management response:
So sweet of you to write such a nice review Captain Ken! It was our pleasure having you both! Looking forward to seeing you again. Stacey & Chris

Excellent Service!, 2016-08-01
Captain: , New York (11)

Owner Stacy was on the dock to meet us as we pulled up after a 15 hour sail. My girlfriend and I were crewing on our friend's boat as they were transfering her from Oyster Bay to Annapolis. Tied us up properly to compensate for tide variance at the fuel dock. Not enough water for our draft at the slips. Stacy offered to drive us to the restaurant, and collect us after dinner. We said we'd walk as we needed to stretch our legs. Well, 2/3's of the way to the restaurant the skies opened up... not 2 minutes later, Chris, Stay's husband and also an owner, pulled up in his vehicle re-introduced himself, and said "get in I'll drive you the rest of the way!" Now THAT's service!!! Had a great dinner - probably because we weren't soaked to the skin, then took an Uber back to Kammerman's.
The rest of our interactions with Stacy, Chris, and their team was nothing less than great customer service!!!
An exceptional marina, with well kept/clean facilities.

Management response:
Thank you so much for this great review! It's nice to know you appreciated the good service and glad you didn't get too wet :) Hope we see you again soon! Stacey & Chris

One night stay, 2016-07-28
Captain: , Sassafras River (20)

This is a small marina with only a few slips, but a nice place to stay and relax. They have a nice store and an outdoor seating area under trees with lights that really put you in a mood to drink a beer. There are a couple of gas grilles which were very nice to use and also a couple tables around the trees to eat. Stacy is very friendly and helpful.

Management response:
Thanks so much for taking the time to write us a great review Capt. Joseph! Glad to hear you enjoyed the sitting area. We just put those lights up this month :) Hope to see you again! Stacey

A SURE BET IN ATLANTIC CITY, 2016-07-16
Captain: , Moriches NY (20)

We were traveling Miami back to NY. making Atlantic City the last stop. As evening approached it became increasingly difficult to locate a marina that would be open on our arrival. Kammerman not only said they would aawait our arrival, they had a slip. When we arrived, Stacy and Eric were waiting at the dock. With a 4-6 foot tide change, they helped secure the boat for the evening. They then told us of some good local restaurants, and even drove us there when we were ready. We opted to stay at the fuel dock for the evening. It was quiet, and I never felt a wake from a passing boat. After signing in we were greated with "you are now part of the Kammerman family". As we tried slipping away in the early morning (we already paid the night before), there was Stacy saying good bye and wishing us a safe trip. This marina is now on my list to stop, even if to just top off with fuel. It's a nice family feeling.

Management response:
Such a nice review Capt. Andy! Thanks so much! Looking forward to seeing you again!

Family owned marina on the way up, 2016-07-11
Captain: , Swan Creek, MD (35)

A young couple have taken on the task of up dating an older family owned marina with a vigor and a pleasantness that should be appreciated by the boating community. The fuel and dockage was very reasonable and the amiability, information and help of the owners is not often seen to this extent.
The marina is a convenient stop along the Jersey shore for either fuel or a quiet rest. Although the facility is a bit limited, there are promises of change in the near future.

Management response:
Thanks so much for the review Capt. Jerry! So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. As you mentioned, we are adding new amenities all the time. We now have bike and kayak rentals and the dockside bar and grill will be open soon! Hope to see you again!

Responsive, 2016-06-28
Captain: , Colchester VT (380)

Based on my 6/1 review, Kammerman's has said that they are making a significant change to their fuel hose storage. They are getting hose reels that will free up the dockway avoiding any safety concern with having to negotiate going over them as I had noted. I have to say that I really respect a business that takes customer feedback so seriously! It is very clear that Kammerman's #1 concern is customer satisfaction and they work very hard to make your stay with them the best. So I have upgraded my review to give them the credit they deserve for their concern. I wish that other marina's had the same attitude. My hat is off to Kammerman's

My review on 6/1:
I know there are lots of raving reviews, however, our experience was less than the best. Disappointing in a word. We came in in really lousy conditions - it was raining heavily and blowing. The one young man who helped us in to the slip was kind and helpful enough. However, he put us on the fuel dock which was a fixed dock and did not offer the information that there would be about a 4' tide. Thought that that should have been a very courteous thing to have pointed out - of course - I knew it was that much and made adjustments to the lines to accomodate. However, they also put us on the fuel dock - which is not in itself a problem except for the fact that there were fuel hoses coiled up covering the entire dock space that made it not only inconvenient to negotiate going over but given the wet conditions - downright dangerous. When I asked for a discount for these less than best accomodations (actually, I would save downright dangerous conditions) I was told that I was being given a discount that turned out to be the one given to BoatUS memebers (which I am) but gave me no more. Also, it appears to me that they have transient docks that are floating around the corner from the fuel dock that I do not know why we were not put on -I believe my draft would have worked. It would have been much more convenient and safe - in my opinion. So while lots of reviews rave about Kammerman's - that was not our experience. Sorry.

Management response:
So sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience here at Kammerman's. Unfortunately, we were not told of your disappointment, when you were docking with us. My husband and I strive to have everyone's experience at our marina, be the best it can be. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review and help us improve our services. We take our customers comments seriously. It concerns us that you felt the fuel dock conditions were dangerous and we will certainly address this to the best of our ability, although we respectfully say that we have never had a problem in the marina's 55 years. But, since your visit, we did order hose reels, to help make more room for walking on the dock, obstruction free. We would appreciate the opportunity to serve you again in the future. If you choose to return, please ask for the owners, Stacey or Chris.

Great Service - Old Docks, 2016-06-25
Captain: , Southport Queensland (300)

Stayed here for four days in June. Excellent service from the owners and staff throughout the stay. Owners are working hard to make this a great marina and a pity that more opertors dont have the same attitude. Dock was a combination of floating and fixed next to the fuel dock and subject to wakes from the channel through the day but very quiet at night but both marinas here suffer the same problem. Certainly the better option.

Management response:
So glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay Captain John! We are continually working to improve our marina and appreciate you noticing our hard work. Not sure what you mean by "old docks", as all of our transient docks are new since Sandy. Maybe you meant the fuel dock which is older, but sturdy and safe. Thanks so much for the review! Hope to see you again!

Great Spot, 2016-06-12
Captain: , Cinnaminson (30)

Had a long day in the fog comming down from Sandy Hook. Called Kammermans and asked when they closed. They told me they closed at 1900 but waited till 20:00 for us to get in. It was very much appreciated after a 15 hour day. Very nice people and marina. Thanks ! We will be back.

Management response:
Thanks so much for the review! Happy to be here for you anytime. See you next time!

Great Expeirence, 2016-06-04
Captain: , St. Joseph, Michigan (20)

The owner's are teriffic, hospitality is A number one. While the facility is old much of it has been upgraded and the 2 days we were there, carpenters were busy updating the facility even more. Our slip was great and we were very comfortable.
Upon leaving we discovered our engine battery had given up. Stacy had us hooked up with an excellant mechanic who was able to get us the new battery and have us on our way by noon.
We would stay there again in a heartbeat

Factory Captain Favorite-Kammerman's Marina, 2016-06-01
Captain: , Port Canaveral (10)

As you may well imagine, I travel a lot by our waterways, both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercostal Waterways (ICW). I often tell myself that if I were not a factory captain, I could probably relax and enjoy some of the journeys I%u2019ve made. From Corpus Christie TX to Boston MA, I have seen some beautiful spots and some not so much. What I do enjoy, is finding the new places which accommodate a minimum down time captain in need of some fuel and a bite to eat (preferably food that has not been under a heat lamp for hours, which happens a lot).

The old cliché%u2019 of %u201CI could write a book%u201D on places I%u2019ve been comes to mind and I am always willing to share my findings with others whom travel the same paths. I am a huge fan of the small but energized locations which treat boaters with a little more personality than the big %u201Ctourist%u201D locations.

This past week I had the pleasure of transporting a Sea Ray L650 to Long Island Sound and on the east coast journey from Florida to New England, I had a float plan in place. Circumstances as they were, I had to adjust my plan and found myself coming up the Jersey coast with adjustments to be made. Cape May was too close for a stop and Brick was a bit too far, so I had to consider Atlantic City NJ. I would have preferred not stopping there as casinos do nothing for a factory captain on a run.

That was my logic but have now changed my thoughts, and here is why%u2026.on more than one occasion I have come into AC and before docking at Farley%u2019s, I have fueled up across the way at Kammerman%u2019s Marina. Thinking this was only a fueling up location; I stopped again but this time inquired where I may stay for the night other than Farley%u2019s. Chris Kammerman (that%u2019s right, family owed since 1961) informed me that he has 6 slips and my Sea Ray L650 would fit just fine. Chris and Stacey Kammerman%u2019s marina turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, and then some. Not only did they treat me like I was the most important boater in the world but actually took my crew to the store to purchase all necessities, and provided a short tour of the city after hours. Chris is also an Atlantic City Police Officer so the comforting feeling being at his location was obvious.

Point to be made is that I have stayed at more places on the eastern seaboard and have encounter more marinas than I can remember, but from hence forth, Kammerman%u2019s will be tops on my list if AC is ahead of me as the day wears on. Chris showed me some additional real estate they hope to acquire soon which will offer more than the 6 slips they currently have. And if that doesn%u2019t do it, Stacey said she is adding a bar & grill to the site%u2026..I will call ahead a day or so just to stay with them again!

Capt. Rusty Higgins

Thank you so much for this outstanding review! We appreciate you taking the time. It was absolutely our pleasure to meet you all. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

GO TO KAMMERMANS!!, 2016-05-25
Captain: , Port Jefferson NY (20)

Simply... awesome! I never expected to be treated like a best friend when I docked at Kammerman's. If you dock anywhere else you are crazy! Chris and Stacy are the owners and they are as good as it gets. Not just friendly, but so helpful and two of the best people you will ever meet on the water. I can't imagine anyone else being as accomodating as they were. I stayed for 2 days and 3 nights sailing up from VA to NY and the people who dock there are in the know about how great Kammerman's is. I could not rate them more highly and I actually miss them and want to go back to visit. Totally unexpected gem in Absecon! Kammerman's is THE BEST! Do NOT go anywhere else! ~~_/)~~

Management response:
It was absolutely our pleasure!! Great spending time and talking with you! Hopefully we'll see you again soon! Thank you!

Answered our call, 2016-05-23
Captain: , Nyack, NY (40)

We called on 16 looking for a Marina and lucked out when Stacey answered. This place is great. Not pretensious but attractive and very well maintained. I felt like I was at a country inn. Also very reasonable.

Management response:
So glad you found us and enjoyed your stay! Thank you!

Good Fuel Dock, 2016-05-02
Captain: , Swalwell (228)

We called and phoned and waited over an hour at the fuel dock at other marina directly across and no one came. We called Kammermans and motored across. Two friendly helpers caught our lines. Nice folks. Fast service.

Management response:
Thanks so much for the review! Happy we could be of service!

Easy in and out, good one night stop, 2015-10-14
Captain: , Long Island, NY (204)

Across inlet from Golden Nugget (formerly Trumps) and Farleys Marina, on Clam Creek. 5-6 block walk to get to boardwalk; this end of the boardwalk is now closed down and is eerily deserted (Oct 2015). We stayed at the fuel dock (AC crowded due to boats travelling from AC boat show to Annapolis), 2.25 foot, Boat US discount. Extra $8 per night charge for 30 amp electric. Helpful dockhands, offered to drive us to restaurants near Gardners Basin. Expensive for what it was, but so is everything in Atlantic City.

Management response:
Thank you for your review. Glad to hear you received good service here! This end of the boardwalk has the newest casino, The Revel, which unfortunately was closed when you were here. It is reopening in June 2016. It is arguably the most beautiful casino in the city, so I hope you get a chance to stop back again. Hope to see you soon!

Good marina, pleasant staff, 2015-10-11
Captain: , Little River, SC (731)

Short, easy access off the Atlantic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quaint seaside real estate right across bay from modern, high rise casinos. We arrived during boat show and was surprised with a $0.50 price increase to $3.00/ft. Couldn't even get to boat show without hailing a taxi.

Management response:
We appreciate your review and happy to hear you enjoyed the service. Sorry you were surprised by the increase during the boat show. There is a high demand at that time, but we are considerably less than the marina where the boat show is held. Also, we would have been happy to drive you over there, please let us know in the future. Hope we'll see you again soon!

Top notch stop., 2015-09-21
Captain: , Sebastian, Florida (387)

We have visited Kammermans many times over the years. Always a very positive stop. Easy in and easy out. Very friendly and helpful staff who exhibit concern for cruiser welfare. Prices very good and discounts available. They also have a store.

Pleasant stop, 2015-09-14
Captain: , Racine, WI (515)

Staff very helpful, caught lines, connected power, and were ready to pump out and fuel if needed. Easy in and out. Close to most of what we needed. Great view across the way to Harrah's and others. Short walk to the Board Walk.

Great fuel stop and maybe overnight, 2015-08-29
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (199)

If your boat is 40' and 6' draft and you arrive close to closing, around 18:00, you can stay overnight at the fuel dock for $2.00 a foot. Turned out to be a great stopover. Owner gave us a ride to the tavern for a good meal and beer and we walked back to Kimmerman's - about 20 minute walk. Wonderful night view of big Atlantic City and rock solid night at the dock. Owners are wonderful people and very helpful when docking. This is our regular stop up and down the coast now.

Very pleased a must stop, 2015-08-11
Captain: , Texas (130)

Great view across the way. The skyline is a sight to see. Very helpful hands to tie you up. Got boat US discount and everything is a short taxi cab ride to everything on the boardwalk. Must go to the trump casino restaurant Milinos right next to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch best ever. thought it was going to be very expensive but we got five star service and food for a mere 25 bucks bit of a walk about 20 min to other local restaurants or dingy to store and more. great Wi Fi yes you can download. Small marine store as well. We will be back

a great fuel stop, 2015-08-07
Captain: , Olcott, NY (2536)

After a no show at the state marina we moved over here to buy fuel.
fun guys at the dock, even bumped into another boater who knew us from the Cape Dory Board.
Fuel was priced ok.
Easy in and out.
be careful entering this harbour with any tidal flow going on.

Not much to do here, told us not to walk around at night

Great overnight stop, 2015-06-15
Captain: , Daytona (410)

May 10, 2015. Perfect for our overnight stop on the way north. Helpful docklands, great restaurant a few blocks away. Definitely on our do again list

Incredibly nice, helpful, people running simple, basic Marina., 2015-05-29
Captain: , Glen Cove, NY (281)

Great stop-over! Best fueling spot in area. Docks/slips all very basic. Place is very well kept up despite offering only basic needs for safe dockage. Need dredging as most berths are less than 6 ft. low/mid tide. Run by same family forever and they are nicest, most helpful group one could ever need. Unless you want the glitz of AC, THIS IS PLACE TO STAY.

Nice and quiet, 2014-11-16
Captain: , King George (107)

Janos summed our stay up perfertly. Easy in and out tied up at the jet ski fueling floating dock. Nice small store and clean bath house.

Staying at Kammerman's marina, 2014-09-25
Captain: , Marblehead (147)

Friendly, family owned place, very small. Slips have only 5' depth, but there is slightly more water at the bulkhead, left turn after fuel dock. Attendants helpful, asked for potential discount membership (nice!). Tidy place, restrooms with shower and laundry room. Small convenience stores within walking distance. Good WiFi connection.

Kammermans, 2014-07-30

Good place to buy fuel, little cheaper than Farleys. Very helpful

Our Choice for fuel., 2014-07-19
Captain: , Osborn Island, NJ (61)

Friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, very quiet, 2014-05-03
Captain: , Nowhere,OK (1314)

I wanted a place that was going to be quiet and did not figure the big AC marina was going to work. They were nice, put is on the floating dock around the corner from the fuel dock. There are two that will take a 45'.

Lots of help getting docked and departing the next day.

And it was super quiet!!

Boat US gets a break on the price $3 / foot vs $3.50. Limited items in the boat store. About a 5 min taxi to stores.

Friendly Staff, Quaint Facilities, 2013-12-16
Captain: , Crockett (610)

Stayed here for 3 nights while I was repairing a saildrive and there was no room at the Golden Nugget due to an offshore boat race. Tied to bulkhead which was a bit of an irritation while trying to get equipement on and off the boat during repairs.

Not much around in walking distance.

Quiet place, 2013-07-31
Captain: , Sorel-Tracy (50)

things are OK except for no pump out yet. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating

3rd time here, 2013-07-22
Captain: , Kingman Yacht Center Cataumet, MA (223)

Four stars for their effort following "Sandy". $2/ft with Boat US. Diesel and gas. Ships store. Walk to the ocean/boardwalk. Pump out still disabled.

Kammerman's, 2012-10-04
Captain: , Pelican Marina, Elizabeth City, NC (131)

This stop was not one of our best. The neighborhood is not safe for exploring; even the water is an extra charge; no one available to help at the dock, and the bathrooms really needed updating and a good cleaning. Difficult to reach by the Skipper Bob 800 number or on the radio; you need the local number. The prices were high for the type of slip we had on the fuel dock.

Good overnighter, 2012-09-06
Captain: , Jacksonville Fl (1520)

Good for an overnight, bath and shower adequate, nothing close by and surrounding area is not where you want to be after dusk. Be sure to bow in to floating docks or be on bottom at low tide.

God for one overnight, 2012-08-18
Captain: , Red Lion, DE (712)

2012-08-17 We arrived a half hour before staff were to leave. It didn't take long to figure out that their leaving by (or before, as was the case with the dockhand) 7 pm was more of a priority than accommodating us. Tied us up and then walked away - no offer to plug us in or hook up the water hose. The 50 amp outlet was about 5 1/2' up on the wall of the building - easy to miss. I had to ask where the plug was and the woman from the office seemed a little irritated that I couldn't find it. The young man on duty the next morning was extremely helpful and pleasant, which was a nice change in atitude. All in all, now being familiar with this marina, I would choose to stay here for an overnight rather than at Farleys - much less expensive. The ships store was well stocked and had some food items.

Good protected location, 2012-06-10
Captain: , Atlantic City, NJ (320)

Kammermans is a nice year round location. Good accessibilty to casinos, beaches and nightlife. Fuel prices are competitive and staff is friendly. Can be a little shallow but follow charts and you will have no problems.

Convenient & Quiet, 2012-06-10
Captain: , santa barbara (696)

Have stayed there twice - first time to ride out a storm, most recent for one night in transit. Was on end of fuel dock, no problems.
Entry is a bit skinny - watch the markers, otherwise no issue. We arrived late, staff was accomodating & let us take care of paperwork the following am.

Quiet, friendly marina in a hectic city, 2012-06-04
Captain: , LeClaire, Iowa (449)

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and were surprised at how quiet the marina was. They pump a lot of fuel because they have very competitive prices. Their ship's store is very nice and has a small book exchange. Only downside is that one has to walk through a dicey neighborhood to get to the boardwalk. We walked a few blocks then took a jitney bus the rest of the way. Took a cab back. Cost both ways - $19.

Slips Shoaling, 2012-05-08
Captain: , Saint Augustine, FL (439)

The two transient slips have shoaled badly. I was assured of enough water for my draft coming in but was aground at low tide. It wasn't a problem as long as I kept several feet of boat sticking out of the slip which made me a bit nervous about the fuel dock departures.

Slip 2 at MLW May 2012:

Outer Cleat 4.5 ft
Middle Cleat 3.4
Inner Cleat 3.0

There may be a bit more water on the boat centerline but it looks fairly consistent across the area.

Awsome friendly service, 2011-11-08
Captain: , Chelsea, NY12512 (481)

Friday 11/3/11 pulled up to the fuel dock at 2100 after a wild 15 hour sail down Jersey coast. Had called ahead for fuel. Woman there let us tie up overnight for free and lent us their bathroom plunger to work on our clogged head the next morning.

Kammermans Atlantic Mrina, 2011-08-02
Captain: , Stuart FL (835)

Very helpful staff. Stayed because of price. Boat US Discount..Easy in and protected frorm most currents.

Aug 2011
Stopped here on way back from Canada. Prices up to $2/ft with Boat US discount and got price of $3.79 for fuel with complete fill up. Price was same as Miss Chriss who ususllyu has about best price for fuel. Decided to by pass the fuel cause wanted to calibrate tank at next fill up. Staff, as usual very helpful and friendly.

Certainly recommend this marina.

GREAT SPOT, EASY ACCESS, NICE PEOPLE, 2011-07-03
Captain: , New Bedford, MA (198)

Only two transient slips but great access to fuel, store and great staff. Family owned and operated, pleasant and friendly. Clean baths and showers and laundry facilities. Continuous upgrades to this marina. Store offers marine supplies, gifts and clothing. Five minute walk down Mass Ave to "Sunny Market" for extra provisions .... very inexpensive. If you don't see it - ask proprietor for what you need. They carry just about everything, at very reasonable prices. Happy Sailing.... Chris and Donna

Kammermans Atlantic City, 2011-06-06
Captain: , Wilsonville, AL (300)

Only 2 transient slips. Bathrooms were not clean and had waiting lines due to gas customer usage. Picture of marina on website exceeds reality.

nothing special but clean and friendly, 2011-06-01
Captain: , Westport,Ma (700)

only 2 slips for cruisers very clean showers and a nice laundry room. They have a nice store with boat supplies they suggusted where to go with bikes or you can walk, we went to Gardeners Basin by bike had a nice lunch and went to the aquarium small but it was nice. Especially nice for small children most tanks are look and touch. We had planned to go to the boardwalk they suggusted we stay away unless we wanted to gamble.

Very helpful, 2011-05-16
Captain: , Jersey City (506)

Stopped for fuel only in 2005. Was misplaced in the Cruising Guide. They re-opened so we could take on diesel to finish our trip home to NYC.

A bargain until May 1, 2011, 2011-04-29
Captain: , Macedon, NY (70)

The current transient rate (until May 1) is $1.50 a foot, and $1.35 a foot for Boat U.S. members. There are two transient slips on a floating dock. Very little you can walk to, or bike to for that matter. The only grocery store larger than a convenience store requires a car.

VERY FRIENDLY, 2011-04-20
Captain: , orchard beach (50)

WE STOPPED HERE FOR FUEL 4/18 THEY OPENED RIGHT ON TIME AND WERE RIGHT THERE WHILE WE DOCKED AND FUELED AND SERVICE WITH A SMILE AND HELPFULL ADVISE

Good value, but no action close by, 2011-04-20

Dependable, quality service. Very rustic but 1 floating dock for 2 boats 45' or less bow in. Family owned. Easy fueling.

Better than average & friendly, 2011-02-16
Captain: , Brigantine, NJ (133)

Convevient gas and variety store. Bathroom facilities. Very friendly.

Saving a little money, 2010-09-06
Captain: , Elizabeth City, NC (241)

We were charged $2.50 per foot while the Farley Park (Trump Marina Casino) charged us $4.00 per foot. It's about trade offs. At Farley you are at the outside bar with a live band and a casino 50 yards away. At Kammermans you either take your dinghy or a cab ($10). Staff is very helpful and fuel is less than further north.

Captain Don Koster _ Carver 466, 2010-07-03
Captain: , CHICAGO (278)

Rustic marina, expect to bow in, all sevices work well. You can dingy to some of the casinos. The Boardwalk is about 12 blocks. The area is okay, but keep alert. I would not walk at night. Marina personel are helpful. They are dog friendly. Boat US discount is .25 a foot.

Easy in & out, 2010-05-19
Captain: , Burnt Store (24)

Desire~ & Peter went out of the way to fuel after hours.

Good place, 2009-10-13
Captain: , Port Ontario, Lake Ontario (410)

We went in with the intention of staying one night but due to bad weather we stayed for two nights. They are very tight on transient space and we had to stay on the fuel dock. The people are extremely nice and the operator in the owner.
We came in after dark and the owner stayed late to help us in.
The dock is fixed and the tide is 4.5 feet so that needs to be accounted for. It's a short walk to the Jitney transportation system which is an interesting ride itself as they accelerate and brake at the maximum.
The marina has a small but well stocked store.
It is across the channel from the Coast Guard station.
I would definitely stay there again.

Past its prime but still OK, 2009-09-23
Captain: , Buffalo (1144)

They try to do their best, but this marina needs a serious overhaul. But it is not expensive by Atlantic City standards, so is worth the money

Good Fuel Prices and Friendly Staff, 2009-03-23
Captain: , Charleston, SC (215)

A favorite spot to refuel, easy access, friendly and helpful staff. We have been coming here for years. We have found the pumpout always working during our visits. If you're a T-shirt lover, check 'em out here!

Fuel Dock, 2008-07-06
Captain: , Newport, RI (10275)

Spent the night at Kammerman's due to impending storms. Tied up at fuel dock. 6' tide and fixed docks makes things intersting. Bathrooms in OK shape. Long walk to restaurants. Over all an OK place to stop.

Best fuel prices in AC,
They say they have pump out but I have never seen it operate, they always say it is broken, then you untie and have to go to Farleys
