Reviews for Jonesport Shipyard
More than accomodating, 2015-10-25

We found this a great stop. Yes there are only a few transient moorings, but there are few transient boats moving through here. They have clean facilities. They helped us get to a grocery store and gave great advice for a spot to eat. We found the people in town very helpful as well. There is nothing fancy here, but it is a quality yard with quality people.

Brilliant, if busy stop., 2014-08-24

We waited out a northerly blow and did all our chores here.

The yard if really accomodating and have great shower and laundry facilities.

In town you can get your propane filled for a bargain and in the Marine store you can not only buy everything for your boat but also birthday cards and even strimmers!!!

The grocery store is a car ride away but the yard can help you with that.

All in all a great stay and very welcoming.

The Jonesport Shipyard is very accommodating and helpful, with a decent launch ramp good only on top half of tide. Clean rest rooms and showers.

A little gem, 2010-10-19

The Shipyard's transient facilities are obviously minimal -- just four moored float sides, a dinghy dock that doesn't work at extreme low tides, and a very clean showers/heads/laundry area. BUT, whereas there's no other even similar facilities available for many miles in any direction and the owners are both cruiser friendly and quite able to help with repairs and other issues, I think the Jonesport Shipyard is worth 5 Stars to anyone passing through the area.
