Reviews for Jerisich Public Dock and Park
worth the visit, 2017-07-06

New heads and showers opened last week. Swipe a credit card for $1.00

Now with showers!, 2017-07-03
Captain: , Portland Oregon (270)

New facility now with showers for overnight guests. Now it's $1 per foot high season, .50$ per foot low season. Includes power and water.

$1 per foot, 2016-08-08
Captain: , everett, wa (355)

A dollar per foot for a public dock might seem high, but it had power and water for no added cost. This is in the middle of old downtown. There were plenty of visitors on the dock but they were all friendly. The parks folks kept it clean for a busy weekend. the only real down side was no showers, otherwise I'd give it 4 stars.

No Longer Free :(, 2016-05-25
Captain: , Newport, OR (10)

I am sad to report that the Jerisich Dock is no longer free. The charge is now $1.00 per foot on Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day with a minimum charge of $20/night and $0.50 per foot, with a minimum charge of $10/night all other days. I found this out just days before a planned trip there so we ditched the planned stay at the dock and anchored out.

Great Facility, 2013-06-07

I believe they are adding more dock space. There are new floats, not yet open, but attached to the original docks. It would double the space. Yeah!

Unique experience - Free dock space, 2011-11-09
Captain: , Chinook Landing Marina, Tacoma (315)

This is a rarity in the marine world, a free, good quality dock where you can tie up for up to two nights at no charge. The dock gets shallow (less than 7') from about halfway to the shore and you can't tie up at the very end as there is a pump out station but otherwise it's great. Well located in the middle of town, you are a close walk to a wide variety of stores and shops.

Great if you can find room, good dingy access, 2011-04-15
Captain: , Seattle (373)

This is a great spot to spend a few hours or a couple days. Mooring is free (no power) but it's hard to find room on the dock. We usually anchor just outside this dock (across the channel) and then skiff in to go shopping or have a meal in town.

Nice public dock, 2011-03-17
Captain: , Gig Harbor, WA (469)

No power, limited water and the pump out is available April 1 thru October 31. The pump out is located at the end of the dock and you will have to dodge people fishing and crabbing. The dinghy dock is at the base of the ramp on the "inside".

It can get shallow at low tide.

Nice moorage, 2009-07-28
Captain: , Cowiche, WA (350)

We have stayed here several times. During peak season it can be a little difficult to find space because it is so popular and easy to get to. 7-09 we had to cruise around the harbor for 30 minutes to wait for a space to open up for our 25' pocket trawler. Nice docks, easy access to town and free pumpout or porta potti dump station. Clean park with tables and good restrooms. No showers.

Nice free tie up, 2009-07-26
Captain: , Seattle (250)

We didn't stay here, but walked the dock a few times and were impressed. Free, first-come-first-served, side ties. No power, but restrooms at the head of the dock. Not as well maintained as private marinas, but conveniet.

Nice little public park adjoining, with picnic tables, lawn, and easy access to all the town has to offer. One night, walking home from dinner, the park was full of families in lawn chairs, blankets, and sleeping bags, watching a free outdoor movie on a large screen. Nice scene.
