Reviews for Jennis Bay Marina
A Truly Pleasurable Place to Visit !, 2013-08-28
Captain: , Anacortes., Washington (121)

We really enjoyed Jennis Bay Marina. Kim and Kent are incredibly friendly and easy going hosts. The marina is the most dog friendly in the Broughtons. The old logging roads make for great hiking. And the hiking is great for the boat dogs. Jennis Bay is very well protected from both current and wind. It's our favorite marina in the Broughtons!

Friendly and comfortable, 2013-08-25

We enjoyed our stay here. People are friendly and caring. The Bay is great to kayak around, and there are nice logging roads for hiking so there are things to do to stretch your legs. Very pretty spot.

Very Friendly Place, 2013-07-24

Nice place to tie up for the night. The folks currently managing the marina are nice and make everyone feel welcome. No electricity or water on the docks but free wi-fi (signal can be a little shakey, but okay for short logon). Would recommend a stay here during a visit in the Broughton's.

Another beautiful spot, 2012-09-03

Location is a bit different than other Broughton marinas. You're in a more enclosed sound (no problem getting in). Good amount of dock space. There are a number of logging trails nearby for hiking or biking--just bring bear bells. Nice place to relax, kayak around, etc.

Not the Fanciest ... But Great!, 2012-07-27
Captain: , The Villages, FL (368)

Jennis Bay certainly not the fanciest, nor the biggest operation - but we Loved it! No electricity, no Wifi, but really nice folks, trying to make a 'go of it. Kim&Kent are personable and find time to chat and share stories. Sure, the shower is $5 (like most others in the Broughton's) but it's a Great gas fired "on demand" water heater and Hot! (Mary Loved it!). Layed back and comfortable, very good Happy Hour. One of our Favorites!

And 'Bruno, the one-eyed Lab(?) will growl like a bear if you treat him right!

The reason to go there is Allison, Orion and Charlie! Even without the ammenaties available at Sulivan, this is personality and fun at its best. Haven't been there yet in 2012 but rumor has it Allison is not there this year....

Unexpected pleasure, 2011-06-01
Captain: , Seattle (76)

Fred Flinn confused Jennis Bay with Kwatsi Bay, owned by Max & Anka. Jennis is very nice, isolated, quiet, with improvements being made this year to guest facilties and docks. No power, but plenty of fresh water. The staff is very friendly, and prawning is good in Drury Inlet. All in all, an unexpected pleasure!

A "Must Stop" destination, 2010-12-24

No one friendlier in the area than Allyson, Orion and Charlie Marie.
The Cajun Nights are a genuine blast.

Friendly folks, managing owners:Tom and Allyson, a pleasant low-key wilderness 'marina. (few amenities, but much charm).

Marina made up of floating logs. Showers, store with nice mechandise, very nice host, Max and Anka, and their kids. Beautiful area. They encourage potluck dinners to get everyone together. Room for 6-8 boats in deep water. Lots of bears, wolves and wildlife. no power or toilets
