Reviews for Islandview Resort
Great stop, 2017-07-27
Captain: , Gananoque ,Ontario Canada (348)

This place is great, the owner Keith goes above and beyond in making your stay here pleasant. Extremely nice facilities immaculately clean bathrooms. Restaurant on property is holistic vegan etc... no beef no meatnot my cup of tea. There is definitely current as you approach but lots of water at gas dock and the floating finger slips. Power was steady with no fluctuations. WiFi great. Pump out as well. Docks were sturdy and we tied a 40 + ft. I would make this a stop upon returning to this area.

A Really Good Stop, 2017-07-21
Captain: , Monticello, IN (140)

There is some current and few transient slips, but there is a really good restaurant a short walk away, the bathrooms are great and Keith (owner) will help you in any way possible.
Overall a really enjoyable stop.

Great place to stop and relax, 2016-07-18
Captain: , Buffalo,ny (60)

Keith the owner is great and will help with whatever you need. They have room for 1 large boat and 2 smaller ones. We're 42' and he tied us and the end of the gas dock. Lots of afternoon shade! They have a small sand beach and the bathrooms are wonderfull.

Restful stop, 2014-08-21
Captain: , Beaverton (264)

A great place to stop. The restaurant is right by the gas dock, and very convenient if you don't feel like cooking. Took on gas and a pumpout.... but plug your nose! (they uncap the holding tank vent during a pumpout, and it reeks horribly). All the slips have 30 amp service and water. Its a short walk to a general store, bakery, liquor and beer stores. There's a small beach, and the staff made a fire for us in the firepit located close to our slip. It was a very restful stop after a long day of travelling. Would definately stay here again (but just in case.... I'll remember to bring a noseplug!)

Tired of locking - try docking, 2010-06-30
Captain: , Palm Coast (792)

After leaving Peterborough you go through seven locks within 15 miles. This is a great place to stop for a break. They can take one large boat and several smaller boats. Twin 30 amp service, water and pump-out right at the dock.

Restaurant 20 feet from main dock. A very short walk to a general store, a bakery, liquor and beer store. Small beach on site.
