Reviews for Ipswich Bay Yacht Club
Very Peaceful and beautiful scenery, 2014-09-02
Captain: , Salem, MA (234)

We spent a very peaceful 2 nights here. Took a mooring here for secure holding in the strong current instead of worrying about dragging an anchor while sleeping. The club crew and members were very friendly and helpful. Clean bathroom and showers. We hope to try the restaurant next time. We look forward to returning often.

We returned again in 2013 and 2014. Hope to come every year.

Private Club, 2010-04-23
Captain: , Ipswich, MA (318)

This is a private club, and very friendly. It does have guest moorings. It is 8 miles from a limited grocery store, 10 miles to a full service market. Town does not have taxi's so you will to rely on friends, or a member. Gas/Diesel/Town pumpout boat available. Moorings only on river where current can be in the 5 knot range. Very pretty setting.
