Reviews for Inner Harbor City Dock
Great urban destination, 2010-01-12
Captain: , Albemarle Plantation, NC (389)

Inner Harbor is a great, family-friendly stop-over. Pull up to city dock, then call on VHF (channel listed on signs everywhere). Museum, acquarium, USS Constellation, WWII submarine, shopping, restaurants, nightlife, jugglers and mimes in the streets, music, noise. Fun fun fun for everyone.

There are numerous marinas just below the Inner Harbor within easy dinghy trip, if you want to stay more than a few hours.

River is busy, but sailing is feasible up to past Ft. McHenry. Canon fire at 1400 is pretty cool. Colors at sunset.

Lower harbor is serious working industrial water -- several large cruise ships, containers, barges. But clearly marked channel, and the big boys play by the rules. So, it's easy, even exciting. Note the history and enjoy the ride.

Great place to dock for the day or overnight., 2009-06-19
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (1109)

There are no ftypical marina facilities at the city dock, but the location is in the middle of everything. There is an aquarium at this location. Restrooms are in a short walking distance and fuel is available at other local marinas. Charge is reasonable and seems like it was about $15 for 5 hours; I don't recall the overnight charge. Radio the Inner Harbor Dockmaster on VHF 68 when you tie up and they will send someone out to obtain your information.
