Reviews for Hyannis Yacht Club
Nice club, good facilities., 2016-08-01
Captain: , Milford, CT (116)

Good club to visit on the south shore of Cape Cod. Staff was mostly friendly although we did receive a very cold reception from restaurant staff who suggested we sit at the bar and were not clear on the menu differences. Seemed rather snobbish. Other than that it was a great stay. Moorings seem to be in good condition, bathrooms and showers were clean. It's about a mile walk in to town, about 1.5 miles to Main Street.

Very nice club for a stop over, 2015-09-03

We sent in a letter of introduction two days before our arrival and received the most gracious welcome. The tender guided us to a mooring and picked us up later to see the the club house and beach. The beach is very nice, the club house is very nice and the staff are wonderful. I should also mention the food and drink prices are very reasonable. Thank you HYC.

Where do I begin? Traditlion, cuisine, friendly. If you can get in, go.

Top shelf yacht club, 2014-07-22
Captain: , Boston (610)

Greatly enjoyed our visit here at one of the nicest yacht clubs in New England. There are no transient moorings per se. Visiting boats are put on members' moorings when they are away. I believe their official policy is to allow members of other yacht clubs from 50+ miles away to stay on their moorings-- that was the case for us and we paid $40 per night nonetheless. They did ask us which club we belonged to when we called in. We heard other boats radio-in asking about mooring availability who were turned away when I think there were still a few moorings open. The only visitors on moorings that I saw were on sailboats.

Dock, access, restaurant, and facilities, 2012-08-01
Captain: , Barnstable (268)

Best facilities on the south side of the Cape. Captain's Table is one of the best restaurants on Cape Cod. The entire club has undergone rennovations. Boats with up to 8 foot draft can get into the dock. If you draw more than 7 feet come through the south side mooring field not up the marked fairway. There is more water in the mooring field.

Beautifully remodelled in 2011. Friendly staff., 2011-07-26

Great restaurant, reasonably priced. Nice beach to walk on.

They Treat You Well, 2011-07-21
Captain: , Kingston, NY (45)

Moorings are reasonably priced. The launch is free (though you should tip). The people are very friendly and helpful. Shower facilities are clean and made available at no cost. They even have block ice. I highly recommend HYC. And it's a very short walk to town.
