Reviews for Hurricane Hole Marina
Great Stop for Atlantis, 2016-05-13
Captain: , Lighthouse Point Fla. (91)

Stayed 3 days here on route to Exumas. If you like water parks or have kids with you this can't be beat. I cannot imagine what the fee would be to visit Atlantis for a day. Day passes no longer available. You have to stay in Atlantis or the marinas to get access. Good help with lines, very friendly treatment all around. Rolly but pretty good protection. Paid about $178/day for electric, water, dock for 42' boat. Shower in ladies WR has no pressure if anybody else is showering in men's or ladies' WR. Try the conch salad from shops under bridge on Providence side. Best ever!

Pricey, but very safe, 2016-03-17

We stopped here for four days to pick up friends and hide from some high winds. Your slip fee includes Atlantis waterpark tickets, so you can have some fun with that. A nice provisioning store and a liquor store is about $30 away (both ways). Staff is friendly and will gladly wash your boat for $2 a foot, but you can negotiate. Water and Electric is extra. We have a 36 foot boat and seldom used a/c, but we averaged $177 per night.

Decent stop in nassau, 2015-07-26

good stop on the way to the Exumas or to pick up/drop off guests. a little exposed to the wakes of Nassau Harbor. a short walk to Atlantis Resort if you need a dose of Disney styled mega resort and crowd. Friendly staff, good fuel price for Nassau. Moderate current on the face docks/slips, better protection in inside basin

On the downside, be ready to wait as most boats refuel here, even though it is a little cheaper across the harbor at Harbor Central with a much longer face dock...

great place to stay, 2015-05-15

Great place to stay! Kids loved easy access to Atlantis. Raquel and all the office staff were professional and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. A short taxi ride for provisions or walk over the bridge for local food vendors.

Only Rating for Fuel, 2015-05-08
Captain: , Coconut Grove, Florida (31)

Only fueled up here. Dock attendant was super. We got 250 gallons of diesel @ $4.15. Fuel is clear not dyed red like in the States, Do not be alarmed.

First Stop in Bahamas 6/7/2014, 2014-06-21

Easy in and out, good fuel dock at most reasonable fuel price I found during 10 days in Bahamas, but most expensive dockage (more than I paid at Chub!).
Staff was most helpful, customs could not have been easier, Marina staff set it up for me.
Resturaunt on the point was a blast, food was great, beer was cold!
Understand that a number of other marina's have opened in the area, maybe competition will help pricing.

Hurricane Hole Marina, 2013-02-17
Captain: , Rye, NH (10)

Spent one night here. $4.00/ft,$ .65 for power. Docks in disrepair, would be overpriced at $2.00/ft. Good bar & happy hour nearby. Nice office & friendly staff. They offer a discount ticket to Atlantis.
Would not go back if I could help it.

Good for a fuel stop, 2012-05-31
Captain: , Sarasota, FL (121)

Only stopped for fuel, but was one of the easiest in/out stops of the trip. Dock hands were helpful and fuel as fairly priced. One of the few places in Bahamas that took my Amex.

Hurricane hole is a hole, 2012-01-19
Captain: , Cape Coral, FL (334)

This place is a dump. One time returning from the exumas we could not get into the Atlantis and we were stuck to stay here. I feared for our lives. The "Pool" has not been cleaned in years and is a cesspool.

On a good note, the fuel is easy in and out just east of the bridge.

Nice place to stay.

Hurricane Hole, 2009-05-04
Captain: , Summerland Key, Florida (188)

Got hung up here for almost a week waiting for weather last year. This marina could be really nice - it should be - it is expensive. However, the water was so full of stray current that it ate up all my bottom and rudder zincs in just four days. I tried to talk to the maintenance guy about this, but didn't get much of a hearing from him...
