Reviews for House of Boats
More a boatyard..., 2015-11-25
Captain: , Corpus Christi (20)

Don't write reviews about a marina that really isn't running as one. This is more a do-it-yourself boatyard... When I was there, it was $10 a day, and you could even stay onboard. They want you out in 30 days or less, unless you make arrangements prior. If you are looking for a nice marina to stay for some time in the Corpus / Rockport area, this ain't it... if you need to do some repairs before moving on, this might be the place. A lot of Marinas don't want transient boats doing work while they are staying with them, this gives you an option. Good place to do a bottom job as pullout and splash are cheap. Some places in the Corpus area are $300. Think about it.

Functional docks - in poor condition., 2014-06-18
Captain: , Albuquerque, NM (120)

$5.00 a night overnight tie-up. Facility in state of disrepair. Shower/washroom old, tired, but functional. Docks falling apart, loose boards, pilings decaying. Tie-up with lots of fenders. Positive note...AWESOME chandlery.
