Reviews for Housatonic Boat Club
Spartan but friendly, 2015-01-22
Captain: , HBC, Stratford, CT (21)

HBC is a "corinthian" boat club where members do most of the work themselves, and try to keep things affordable. No bar, restaurant, pool, or dockside power, but an inexpensive and quaint place to tie up (limited dock up to 24', up to 44' on moorings) if passing through. Hot showers (outdoor), clean rest rooms, block and cube ice for sale. Launch service in season.

Great Hosts, 2014-08-19
Captain: , Perth Amboy, NJ (20)

Brief stay to break up a trip from Raritan Bay (RYC) on a trip to Shelter Island. Members and staff couldn't have been any nicer! This is what a club is all about? They do not have a restaurant but on a Monday night every table on the deck was filled with members dining with their families.

I guess you have to be a member of another boat club

Friendly staff, 2013-06-06
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (1187)

Pulled in during a heavy blow. Club Steward was very helpful in directing us to a mooring. $20/night for members from reciprocating clubs. Strong current, but well protected from wind. Short walk to historic part of Stratford. No showers as the club is still recovering from damange sustained as a result of SS Sandy.
