Reviews for Hope Town Harbour Lodge
Excellent food, 2016-06-05

We visited the Lodge a few times while on a mooring ball, once for drinks by the pool and once for dinner - both times the service was good and the food was outstanding. Small reef located just off their beach, water was clear but not much marine life present.

Great views. Good food., 2015-07-25

We had dinner one night here. Friendly staff. Chef tried too much with the food and overpowered the meal... Decent nevertheless.

We spent a total of 7 days in 2 visits to Hope Town this summer largley because of Gary the bartender at the Reef Bar. Friendly, entertaining service with spectacular views.

A must visit for us each and every time we're in Hope Town. During the daytime Gary makes us feel welcome and serves us great lunches and rum drinks at the Reef Bar.
At night the bar and restaurant provide that same great service and outstanding food. Fallon is an excellent chef and when off duty, plays a mean keyboard at local bistros. Tom, the manager, gratiously oversees the entire operation.
To top it all off, Harbour Lodge is dog friendly.

Like a lot of resorts / hotels in the Abacos, Hope Town harbour Lodge is a bit dated from an infrstructure standpoint, and could use a bit of TLC in places. However, that does not detract from the quaint charm of of the Lodge.

All of the rooms are actually bungalows, most of witch are directly on the ocean. Falling out of bed onto the beach is a reality here.

Pool area is nice, and the pool bar is accomodating.

My daughter got married here, and everrything went exactly as planned thanks to the manager and staff. My wife and I were on our boat, and we were invited to use the facilities for as long as we wished after the wedding was over during our 3 month stay in Hope Town. Even our dog was welcome at the pool.

This is not a high end luxury resort, but still ranks 5 stars for staff, friendliness, and accomodation...... they did what they said they were going to do, and they did it well
