Friendly Caring Marina, 2013-09-19
Captain: , Columbus,Ohio (256)

Our group made a fuel stop here and I can't say enough good things about the owner and his employees. They are truly helpful and concerned about you.

Very fair prices on fuel. The dock areas are in good repair. The other facilities arounf the marina are starting to show their age, but for the most part, they are clean and well maintained.

Convenient Stop but Needs TLC, 2012-09-04
Captain: , Aquia Harbour, VA (1177)

Well protected from wind and wakes, the marina is located in a basin. Stay in the middle of the creek coming in for about 7 1/2' of water dropping to 5 1/2' in one spot. Depth at the dock is about 6 1/2'. The owner and manager go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The marina itself needs some TLC.

Off River tow safe dockage in a marina barren stretch of the River., 2012-08-30
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, Fl (6909)

Needed a stop at end of the day after 3 hour wait locking up thru the Greenup Lock due to construction. We called after closing time and the owner answer and tolked us to the transient dock which is just past the fuel docks and consists of along side tie, the outside (north end) of the covered docks closest to the fuel dock. No cleats just tie to the vertical 4x4 posts support the roof. power is in blue boxes and is twin 30 amp separate phases.
City water at the dock and is moderately hard. The facilities have seen better times but is certainly functional. Economy has had it's effect on the folks in the area. This is a full service marine although can only haul medium sized boats but have mechanics on call and do most repairs.

Looking old, 2012-06-06
Captain: , Pgh,Pa (224)

Stoped for fuel. Average prices. Like alot of marina's today it looks alittle neglected.

Outstanding, 2010-04-27
Captain: , Waverly, WV (116)

A fine little marina and yacht club. Good fuel prices and transient docking prices. One of the friendliest places we have ever been, everyone cannot do enough for you. Off channel in protected cove. On weekends there is a nice little restaraunt open for breakfast through dinner. Also a service dept. with mech. on duty.
