Reviews for Holiday Harbor Marina
Great Dock Master, but..., 2015-04-03
Captain: , Pensacola, Florida (50)

Pro: The Dock Master was expert and very helpful and the one bathroom for each sex was clean. The nearby restaurant is very good.
Con: There's only one shower, and it's a bit rough. The docks are unacceptable for sailboats; if you bow in, the finger piers are far too short, and backing in won't get you close enough because it's too shallow. If you have a large dog or infirm passenger, they can't get on or off the boat.
Shallow draft powerboats will have no trouble.

Friendly, but...., 2013-05-16
Captain: , Oneida, TN (415)

Dockmaster very friendly helpful and welcoming. We only needed a bag of ice and a pumpout. Suction on the pumpout rig was less than great, though the dockmaster did his best. Who knows if it ever completely emptied (we only have a 13 gallon tank). We finally decided (hoped) we'd gotten enough. After all that, the pumpout charge was $20! That's at the high end of all the ones we saw on the Great Loop. I'm guessing the locals prefer to put it overboard or go somewhere else. Other than the pumpout, it's a great stop.

Easy days run from Mobile (Dog River), 2012-12-13
Captain: , St. Louis, MO (1777)

This is a nice easy run from Dog River Marina - left at 9am, arrived at 3pm without having to crush it. Arrived mid December so it was very open. They had us dock at the restaurant dock for the night. Restaurant is basic but the food and service was good. New docks.

Excellent, customer-oriented facility., 2011-03-08
Captain: , Atlanta (314)

This is a fairly regular stop for us whenever we are in the area. Never stayed overnight (we prefer to anchor out), but have stopped for gas, ice, restrooms, and a restaurant visit many a time. Have been very happy with the service (and the food) each time.

Nice Stopover - Very Clean RR, 2010-12-24
Captain: , Cleveland (2083)

We arrived just before dusk and they waited for us to arrive (we had called 2 hours out). Very helpful getting into the dock. Restrooms were very close and the harbor is VERY well protected. Would stay again.

Restaurant was not open for breakfast at this time of the year so we can't comment on the food.

Small Sailboat Cruising, 2009-05-13
Captain: , Carrabelle (364)

We did not eat at the restaurant so we cannot comment. We did rent the 1 BR apartment for one night which was very clean but not as well stocked as it should have been for the price. However, I would stay again. The laundry room was free. The slip we were assigned with the apt was only avg and I am sure a larger boat (>25") would not have been able to use it unless low draft. A larger boat would probably be assigned a different slip.

Stop Over, 2009-04-20
Captain: , New Iberia, LA (357)

Great place to stop for lunch or dinner at the Sunset Grill. Marina is OK.
