Reviews for Hogan's Marina
Best Marina in town, 2015-12-14
Captain: , Daufuskie Island (40)

I have kept a boat at Hogan's for a number of years. I have been in and out of every marina in town and no one can come close to matching the customer service you receive at Hogan's. Bubba runs the marina and Jodi runs the office. Give them a call and you will be pleasently surprised as to the service you receive.

It is What it Is..., 2013-10-28
Captain: , Nyack, NY (646)

Friendly helpful staff, but transiants are not the first priority. Rest rooms and the single small shower(in the ladies room,) close at 6. No deisel available. This is a rack storage facility for small fishing boats with limited space available on the T head. Plusses are, a Publix and other useful retailers right next door as well as the bus stop that goes down town. Dinghy tie up is $10, Showers are an additional $5

Bubba, his wife and crew are the best, 2013-10-03

I was going to use ramp down the road to launch but the price was the lowest I had ever seen for a hoist launch. Then Bubba sent 2 dock hands down to help step my mast. No one has ever done this before and I have stayed in over 100 marinas. This is a very small marina but they are big in heart. I will stay here again.

Dinghy fee too high, 2013-07-10
Captain: , Live-a-board (350)

Folks are nice but honestly $10 for dinghy fee? If not for the Publix then there'd be no reason to dinghy in. If the market will bear it he can charge but given that we are generally walking and can carry and store only so much the $10 is like a 15% surcharge on our groceries.

Publix is right next to this Marina!, 2012-07-20
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (555)

I would give this marina a 5 star for being close to a nice big grocery store! I rolled the Publix cart from the store to the dink and then took the cart back to Publix. We stayed in the anchorage and used the dinghy dock for $10 per day. Bubba and the staff could not have been more helpful. There are also many restaurants near by. Molly McGuires has outdoor patio and is dog friendly.

Friendly and helpful - dry stack, 2011-04-21
Captain: , Chesapeake Bay MD (495)

My buddy keeps his boat at this location and it is great for dry stacking. Bubba runs the place and will go out of his way to be helpful. Convient to stores etc.

Hogans Marina, 2009-11-02
Captain: , Long Beach, CA (177)

It's convenient to Publix, small resturants, and has few boating supplies. Friendly. Facilities are adequate and that's all.
$1.50 ft. today.

Convenient dinghy dock, 2008-10-05
Captain: , Chesapeake Bay (592)

I have anchored upstream of this marina several times and have tied my dinghy up at Hogan's. It is $10 for 24 hrs--more than I like to pay, but convenient walking distance to Publix, restaurants, and library with Internet. My rating is for the dinghy facilities. The staff is helpful, but I know nothing about their transient facilities.
