Reviews for Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina
Best Diesel Price, Aug., 2015, 2015-08-06
Captain: , Charleston, SC (220)

Best price around; fuel dock on ICW; extremely friendly stop; rest. closed on Monday.

unfriendly, 2015-07-14
Captain: , NewYork (10)

Had lunch there and Manager accosted me to tell me all the things I could not do. $10 dinghy fee, $20 for lunch and double for dinner. No other shoips for miles and biking to them is unsafe. Forget about it.

Very Friendly, 2015-04-29
Captain: , Hilton Head Island (10)

This RV resort and marina is top end. The grounds ae maintained in a very good condition, maintenance is evident and there are many full-time occupants. While the marina is small, several size slips ae available. Entrance and exit are subject to tide restrictions as the tide swings can be extreem. You exit directly on to the ICW (Ch mkt 20).

Sunset Grill, 2014-09-28

The on-site restaurant is fantastic. Shrimp and grits to die for.

YOLO Sailboat 4/14, 2014-04-03
Captain: , New York City, NY (10)

Very nice spot. Dock master very helpful, assured us that there was 14' feet of water at low tide and he was right. Can't walk or ride bike anywhere - main road is way too busy. Amenities well maintained. Sunset Grille restaurant - food very good, pricey, must have reservations and confirm them - management needs workthough. Downside no pumpout and area has lots of small flying bugs.

Restfull & Peaceful, 2013-07-27
Captain: , Anna Maria Island (573)

Beautiful spot to spend time. Great resturant on site, Pool once we found our way around good biking too

Nice staff and great place to stay, 2013-06-12
Captain: , Chattanooga, Tn (20)

Stopped for fuel, but we were tired and the pool looked inviting so we stayed the night. There is not a ton of space for transients but we were there early on a weekday so we didn't have a problem. The staff was extremely nice and helpful! Saltwater pool was very well kept as were the rest of the grounds. Nice place to relax.

We always stop, 2013-03-31
Captain: , Reedville, VA (689)

Great place to stop. Good fuel prices. Great restaurant. The only thing lacking is a pump out.

Decent stop, room for 2 or 3 transients, 2012-10-25
Captain: , Poughkeepsie, NY (6077)

We had a slip on the inside of the fuel dock, the usual place they put transients. Nicely kept area, nothing nearby.

great quick gas stop on ICW, 2012-08-08
Captain: , Chesapeake Bay MD (495)

Stopped for fuel directly on ICW and gas prices lowest on on trip. Easy to get in and out clean restrooms and great pool location. Grounds loked nice. Would return and like to spend night.

Good Stopover but call for reservation first, 2011-04-02
Captain: , North Carolina (344)

We stayed here for two nights (one because of weather) on our way north. It is a good stopover place but they do not have very much transiet room so be sure to call ahead. We were the only ones there on both nights.

Dockmaster friendly and helpful. Showers and restrooms clean. Pool available. Restaurant on site is supposed to be really good but we did not eat there. Nothing much else around.

We would stay again.

Call Ahead, Space Limited, 2011-03-28
Captain: , Indian Harbour Beach, FL (105)

Stopped Father's Day 2010 after calling ahead to reserve a slip. Due to the low water our 4ft. draft sailboat could only be put at the fuel dock, which was very fine. The pool was refreshing and the restaurant expensive but excellent quality. I would stop again but definitely call ahead for reservation. boatus discount also.

Limited Transient but nice pool, 2010-07-16
Captain: , Port Aransas, Texas (998)

We stopped for a two night stay for maintenance. The fuel dock is nice but busy during the day and it is the only transient for 40 feet boats that we could see. Nice personnel and a small but good restaurant on site. The pool is very nice and right on the ICW. Facilities are adequate and people watching very good.
