Reviews for Hartley Bay
ATV and Boardwalk land!, 2016-08-25
Captain: , Anacortes, WA (40)

Good place to get fuel, but be warned that the fuel dock shuts down mid-day from noon-4PM.

The town is rather interesting. I enjoyed that the entire village is connected via board walks and everyone has ATV's.

Limited space but good marina, 2015-05-13
Captain: , Kirkland, WA (4478)

This is a small marina with limited space. Contact the tribal office regarding space to tie-up. Locals on the dock are helpful in finding space. The village and it's board walk pathways are fun to explore. As locals for directions to a nice trail to hike to a nearby lake. Ask at the tribal office for the guide that is noted for finding Spirit Bears. The charge for moorage is a donation at the tribal office.

Nice Protected Marina, 2014-08-19
Captain: , Anacortes., Washington (121)

The marina only has a few open spaces for guest moorage. The marina is very well protected and beautiful. The people in the town are very friendly. Telus cell coverage is very good. The roads and sidewalks are all made of wood planks! Very interesting to walk around town.

Great view - friendly people, 2014-05-02
Captain: , Cowichan Bay, BC (838)

A very neat little community with a great view out over the bay. Boardwalks instead of streets all over town so its a good place to get off the boat and go for a walk.

Free dock, but expensive fuel, 2014-01-06
Captain: , Algonac, MI (1659)

People were very nice, but there is no store. OK place to spend the night.

Nice stop for fuel and water and rest, 2013-08-03
Captain: , Campbell River (355)

We stayed for 2 nights at the marina. There was lots of room during the day, but by evening fish boats came in for the night. Be prepared for rafting if it is full. Good cel service and water is excellent people very friendly.

Good fuel stop and seaplane pickup, 2010-10-12
Captain: , Bellingham, WA (364)

Hartley Bay is one of the best fuel stops on the Inside Passage. North Pacific Seaplane operation to/from Prince Rupert. This First Nations village has no other services, but the residents are very friendly.
