Reviews for Harbourview Marina Brighton
Great experience; highly recommend, 2015-06-27
Captain: , Pultneyville, NY (852)

The marina and restaurant are owned and run by a husband/wife pair. He tends to the marina and she is the chef in the restaurant. Very friendly place. Docks are in good repair. Food is outstanding; all natural and made from scratch.

2014 Update, 2014-08-18
Captain: , Mimico Cruising Club Toronto (35)

We had engine trouble (raw water strainer o ring) Jennie the owner made a sail in dock available for us at a moments notice. The Cafe food is all home cooking. Call ahead to get space or pick up a mooring ball.

Great Spot, 2013-07-26

Weedy getting in but a great spot to go to. The food is excellent and the people are very friendly. Wished we stopped here before instead of bypassing it all the time.

Great Place - bring an extension cord, 2013-07-14
Captain: , Port of Toronto (296)

Jenni and Bill really make this place. Jenni's home cooking is fabulous. Most of the docks don't have electricity so you may have to rough it. My 150 foot extension cord was stretched to its limit. I never did find any water at the docks.

The washrooms and showers are clean and available 24 hours. We used this as a base coming and going to the Murray Canal and Prince Edward County.

Finally: Check for weeds on the prop before entering the canal. They can leave you pretty much 'in irons' and unable to make way while in the canal.

a good stop, 2013-02-02

But beware the rocks in front of the fuel dock!! We left early to go through the Murray canal but the swing bridge doesn't open until 9 am. Place is clean and friendly?

Good Overnight - Before Entering Lake Ontario, 2012-04-19
Captain: , Mimico Cruising Club ON Canada (1210)

A good spot after leaving the Murray Canal to spend the night before heading out on the lake. Nice restaurant, but a long walk to groceries - better if you have a bicycle with you.

Captain: , Margaritaville (355)

Nice, family run, small marina for boats under 40'.
Owners Bill & Jenny try to please and their little restaurant has good home-cooked food.
Docks are good enough and prices are reasonable.

Any Port etc., 2009-06-02
Captain: , Toronto (592)

This small marina is conveniently located (in as much as having passed over the dangerously shallow Presquile Bay in anything short of calm waters would make it convenient) on the most extended point of land visible. It has a nice restaurant, a so-so motel and power and water. The dock takes a pounding in any weather so go inside if you can. Pleasant English couple runs the joint and you can gain internet, if you have a portable laptop, near the motel. Shower and washroom facilities are excellent. Convenience store close at hand but the town of Brighton proper is a cab-ride away. Good bars and restaurants nearby.
