Reviews for Harbour Towne Marina
Excellant Work, 2017-06-21
Captain: , Lighthouse Point (282)

Recently here for haul out to have two transducers fitted thru-hull by Treichel Marine. Despite the yard being very busy, the operation went extremely well with zero problems. Back in the water in two days and had Prop Speed applied to underwater metal parts.
Very happy with the experience and would recomend both the Habor Towne Marina and Treichel Marine to anyone.

Extremely Helpful, 2017-04-16
Captain: , Chelsea, NY12512 (561)

Because of an engine problem we had to be towed into the marina and Barry, the dockmaster, put us up at the fuel dock for eight days, when no other marina would take us because they were full. We needed to be near the Volvo service people, Sun Power, who had a facility on the marina property. The office people were also friendly and helpful.

First Class Facility and close to PE inlet, 2017-04-07
Captain: , Newport, RI (360)

Quick to inlet and many marine service providers on site. close to airport. Very well run!

Great storage, 2017-02-26
Captain: , Camden, Maine (110)

My 30' Whaler is dry stacked here. Security is great as are the launch crews. This was my first experience with dry stacking, as I am from New England, and I couldn't be happier. After calling around to other marinas in Ft. Lauderdale I am glad I ended up here.

very accommodating, 2016-06-07
Captain: , Lakeview Park Marina Windsor ON (366)

we were towed in here by Towboat US with engine problems. Towboat did a great job of that. we found HarbourTown to be very reasonable for slip rental. while there they suggested Sun Power Diesel as a source for resolving our diesel issue. they are right on the property. sun Power not only fixed our engine issue but also made our aging Onan generator operational again; all at very reasonable rates. well done to all concerned!

Nice marina with friendly staff, 2016-03-11
Captain: , Apollo Beach, FL (928)

We just bought a Marlow Hunter 40 and picked it up here. This is a very nice marina with good facilities, great staff, easy access to repair facilities, and reasonable close to shopping and restaurants. The showers were not the cleanest, but better than many we have seen. Good pump out service at the fuel dock. It can be a little tight getting in and out with large boat traffic going by the entrance. We bought the boat from Bavaria Yachts at the marina and they did some repairs for us as agreed to at the sale. We ended up having to stay here longer than anticipated and they were very accommodating. Wifi really only works right next to or in the office, but they have a comfortable lounge you can use during the day.

nice people and close to stores and vendors, 2016-03-03
Captain: , Buffalo (832)

We stayed one night, arriving early so that we could provision and wait for a window to leave for Bimini. A publix was within a bicycle ride and a west marine was available. I used this day to change the oil on my diesels and genset and it was a good thing to do because there was a diesel repair shop in the same basin and I was able to purchase extra oil and the exact filter I need for the genset. Laundry was only $1 per load.

The place to get work done, 2015-09-19
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (1342)

Despite what you might think from the extra 'u' and 'e' this is a working yard. Good haul out, lots of services, just a little rough around the edges. Highly recommend Yacht Management Group for work on the boat. This review is going up before they finish our work but I am already very pleased. You will want to take a look at Google Earth or some other source of overhead imagery to get your bearings if you have a large boat - some of the fairway turns can be tight. There is a Publix about a mile away. In the same shopping center is a little Italian restaurant that is outstanding. Get the spaghetti and meat sauce. Excellent food and a large portion - I ate half and took the rest back to the boat, woke in the middle of the night and finished it. Within the marina access to restrooms and laundry are easy. Bring quarters for the machines. WiFi access is quite poor. No signal at all in the slips, reasonable in the office and laundry room. Adequate for light e-mail but quite awkward for research and surfing. Note I did not have a WiFi extender on this boat - that might have made a substantial difference. Cellular coverage for AT&T and T-Mobile was good.

Great spot to leave your vehicle and trailer., 2015-09-01
Captain: , Folly Beach, SC (90)

Trailered my Key West walkaround down from Charleston SC, and was thrilled to find such a safe, nice facility. $8 a day to leave your truck and trailer, left ours for 6 days, completely safe. The ramps are outstanding, no current, and FRESH WATER WASH DOWN! Open 24/7. Can't say enough about this place.

Four Nice Ramps - Good Security, 2015-06-21
Captain: , Charleston, SC (267)

We used to splash at across the ICW at John U Lloyd but they no longer allow overnight parking. Harbortown has nice ramps and good security if you're heading to the Bahamas for a few days.

Great for repairs, 2015-02-15
Captain: , Cruising (70)

Great place for repairs. The haul out is not DIY, and they insist you hire one of the on-site companies to do any work if you haul out. That's okay, but they don't run the Travel Lift on a schedule so you never know when you're going to get blocked, never mind when you go back in the water. As a result, expect plenty of costly delays. Haul out at Royale Palm Marina next door to the west. HTM has slow wifi (not available on the docks), and poorly stocked bathrooms (ie. paper towels, etc). Jen and Louise in the office are great. Really convenient access to Port Everglades inlet with no bridges. Super close to the airport.

Nice folks good working marina, 2015-02-03

Towed in for repairs. The service was first class. Would return if repairs are needed.

harbor towne boat launch, 2014-08-11
Captain: , east greenwich, RI (90)

I have twice launched a two foot draft sailboat here (good ramps), parked car and trailer (cannot remember the rate), and sailed to Grand Bahama via port everglades. Perfectly located just off the ICW. excellent showers for the after trip cleanup.

My Home Port, 2013-04-10
Captain: , Ft. Lauderdale, FL (10)

I keep my boat at Harbour Towne and they have always provided good service and a friendly staff. The price is reasonable and they have a lot of options for service if you need it. If you're looking to head out of Port Everglades the location is perfect.

Top Notch marina.....complete services on site with many marine businesses there. great staff. Definite stopoff for FLL area marina needs

Great Marina, 2012-06-20
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL. (251)

Harbor Town is a great place for repairs and a jumping off point for the Bahamas. If you have bikes, ride to Hollywood Beach you will enjoy!

Harbour Town Marina, 2012-04-04
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale FL (167)

Very large and clean marina can lift very large boats with forklift for rack storage inside of hurricane proof buildings. Work racks for you to work on your boat yourself. Many other marine service companies on premises.

A place to get work done, 2010-04-21
Captain: , Cruising (3535)

This is a fine place to have work done, but there's not much around, and it's not really inexpensive at just about $2/foot and $15 for 50amp electric. Finger piers (on C dock) are about 10' long.
There is now a nice new Publix on Dania Beach Blvd. about a mile away - an easy walk, with a Quiznos, little Chinese food spot, and a nice little Italian/pizza place on the end. Walk down Gulfstream Rd. to Dania Beach Blvd and turn right. Would highly recommend Antonio's in the scruffy little strip of stores on the right, about 1/4 mile before the Publix on the left. Excellent and inexpensive.

Repair Marina, 2007-04-30
Captain: , Long Beach (983)

Wonderful place for repair, maintance, outfitting. Great number of service shops in the marina to chose. You can get anything you need serviced done. This is a working marina, facilities are not great given the rates for slips.

Great place for repairs, etc., 2007-01-22
Captain: , MV Red Head (3106)

This facility is the place to go if you need anything done on your boat. There are lots of businesses right at the site for everything from repair work, maintenance, even outfitting your boat. The place is quiet and gated. It is quite a long way for groceries, restuarants, or entertainment. The staff is great, very friendly.
