Reviews for Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club
Really first class facilities - Yeahbut... Punta Gorda , 2016-01-29

Don't dock on the outside dock. We are being jostled a bit as I write. Club is fine, but not overly helpful. I'm guessing it's more of a golf and CC than a yacht club - not many boats at their three separate docks. No fuel - no internet at docks. Rating based on facilities, not service.

First class gated golf course community with lovely clubhouse and restaurant facility. They built it along several miles of the North Fork of the St Lucie River, then put out three large docks (separated by a quarter of a mile) and made a yacht club. The fact that most boats here are on lifts tell you something, but weather was settled during our visit and powerboat wakes were tolerable. The 'center' dock has spots for transients. The dockmaster had us circling on the river waiting instructions, went off to take photos of some member's fish catch and forgot all about us! Finally we just grabbed a slip by ourselves. Then he showed up unapologetically demanding our proof of insurance! Except for that imbroglio our experience here was great, but I took a star off my rating for that business. A car rental would be necessary for any lengthy stay here.

Docks ok, power ok, long way to anything including clubhouse.
