Reviews for Harbour Marina
Nice stay over , 2016-08-21
Captain: , Tacoma, WA (10)

This was our first trip out with the new boat and we really didn't know what to expect. We pulled in for lunch and were immediately met by Fred asking if we were staying or just visiting the pub. After eating we decided to see if we could stay the night and Fred was very accommodating. He promptly answered his phone and was at our boat with a key to the facilities within 5 minutes. The stay was worth more than the $35 dollars we were charged and we will definitely return.

Great place., 2016-08-06

We stopped here for the night on the way home from 2 weeks away. Called them on the phone and the nice gentleman found us a spot. He met us at the dock, helped grab a line and gave us a key. Very welcoming. Turns out that he owns the marina as wells as the pub at the head of the dock. The docks are wood and a little tired but very servicable. Holding tank pump outs at the fingers. The restroom and showers were good and laundry machines were available free. The pub has great food and drink and is really busy.

This is a place to come back to.

Great Overnight Spot, 2015-09-08

We had a wonderful weekend here. Easy to get in, very friendly. easy access to the town and nearby pub.

Keep looking, 2015-08-14

We phoned several times but no answer. As we pulled up to the marina, there was no signage, no vhf call letters, nothing at all. Just a small marina full of boats. So we paid for a public mooring ball nearby.

Currently Under Consruction, 2015-02-25

I drop by here once a week to eat dinner at the restaurant, but yesterday and a few times before there has been construction which has not been marked, including floats which are almost submerged tied to the end of the dock. These are hard to see and have structural wood (like 2x4s) sticking out into the water, so be careful.

I would have like to see some signage about the construction or something on the floats to identify them as a hazard.

Very friendly, 2014-10-08

Pulled up on Sunday and enjoyed free dockage at the Harbor Pub dinghy dock area. Great food at the Pub, as always

Great Marina, Best Fish & Chips. (Really...the best for real!), 2014-07-28

Another great NW marina and town. Fred the Dockmaster is very relaxed easy going gent, enjoying the marina life. If you get in late or want to depart late, no worries. He meets you on the dock with a key to the facilities, (head, shower and laundry) and just wants you to remember to return the key to him before departure. Guest moorage is a very fair price at $35.00 per night for a 38ft sailboat with power. Dock is old, but still safe and part of the rustic charm. Pump out at the finger pier by means of a mobile pump out system. Did I say best fish & chips at the Harbour Public House...? Just needs a fuel dock for 5 shiny stars.

great little place for a weekender, 2012-09-10

We stayed last weekend and Fred, the harbormaster, was great. Met us late for our arrival to give us the key to the showers and show us around. Pricing is comparable to other marinas and Fred doesn't rush you out on Sunday unless on rare occasion someone else is coming in behind you.

5th star if the docks were renovated (not bad, but not top of the line either ... a little unstable due to age)

Pleasant Suprise, 2012-09-09

We showed up in Winslow on a Sunday with no pre planning. The usual marina we stay, Winslow Wharf Marina, was closed on weekends. What's up with that? Anyway, I remembered this small marina next door, called the number in the cruise guide, and Fred answered...on the ferry. He gave us a slip assignment and was at the dock to give us a bath key 15 minutes later. $30.00 including power, and he told us not to worry about check,out...just leave when we wanted to . This will now be our first choice.

An excellent place to moor overnight, 2010-08-16
Captain: , Seattle, WA (10)

The Harbour Marina is the perfect place to moor for a weekend or several days. It is located next to one of the best public houses in the Northwest as well (owned by the same people) - the Harbor Pubic House, which hosts some of the best food on Bainbridge Island and a great selection of beers and ales. It's a cozy old house (built in 1881) that was converted to a cozy old pub with a good, laid back crowd, but back to the marina - it's clean, perfectly located and has one of the most laid back, friendly dockmasters around - Fred.

For a weekend getaway, this is one of the best around.
