Reviews for Harbour Central Marina
Probably best bargain in marinas in Nassau, 2016-07-07

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always available. Easy to dock fuel dock. When entering marina do not cross the shoals in front of it. Go along the docks from the cruise ship terminal. There is deep water.
Clean, new docks. Safe enclosed marina. Restaurants, supermarket within walking distance. Short cab ride to Atlantis over the bridge.
Stayed for a week in late March 2016. Will again this winter.

Basic dockage, 2015-12-20

We docked here for a few days, went to Atlantis for 3 days, then came back to stay for a little bit. Then we were told that we would have to move to a different slip since they were going to put a bigger boat in ours, basically rented our slip out from under us since they could get more money for it. Offered us another slip at .75/ft that is only 25 ft wide max for our 22 ft beam cat. With a 30 knot nor'easter coming in, we didn't want to barely fit in a slip, esp since just normal conditions can have you hopping in these slips. So we left for Bay Street Marina, a little more costly, but much better amenities making it worth the price difference.

The washers and dryers are great, the bathrooms ok, and the showers totally unacceptable. It's a basic Marina, with minimal facilities, no RO water, but fewer people and fairly quiet. We would not be opposed to staying here again, but probably would not be our first choice.

The best kept secret in Nassau, 2015-07-26

While others are waiting in the current being the bridge to refuel at Hurricane hole, we just tie to a better, cleaner, bigger dock and pay less :) friendly staff, beautiful new docks. The face dock is twice as long as hurricane hole!

Would have given 5 stars if street access was a bit nicer but it is a boat storage facility, not a resort.

No longer a deal, 2015-06-02
Captain: , Edmonton (279)

Previously stayed here at $1/ft, and that was a good deal for Nassau. Owner did some upgrades, now has delusions of grandeur - charging $2/ft. There's now power and water to the slips (for a price). Only amenity is toilet (BYOTP) and weak showers.

Good facilities, nice people and great price!, 2012-03-09

We pulled into HCM to stay just a few nights to visit friends...we eneded up being there for 14. We found the facilities to be quite nice for the Bahamas and at $1.75/ft that includes water & power it's a very good price as well. A number of nice restaurants close by, immigration is a 5min walk, we picked up internet very good (w/long range antenna) from Atlantis for $20/day but the Green Parrot (3 min walk) or the Wine Bar (very nice tapas/wine bar) across the street both have it for free. We got stuck due to weather and they gave us a couple days free since we "wanted to go but couldn't"...very kind of them. I did not take on any fuel so I can't speak to the fuel dock but everythign else was quite nice, very pleasant folks and a great value! We'll be back if/when we're in Nassau again.

This Texaco fuel port claims to not be able to accept credit cards because "the phones are down". They have been "down" for over a year. They will also tell you "they have no change" so be sure to take some. I much prefer the Texaco Star Port on the East end of the harbor. They take cards with no sur-charge, will make change, have a place for garbage, and have free water. Worth the trip (about a mile) in the dinghy and the price was less for the diesel
