Reviews for Harbortowne Marine
Everything under one roof!, 2016-10-18
Captain: , Port of Tellico (10)

I don't care what you need for your boat, they have the facility to do anything, including buying or selling a boat. Super friendly and experienced staff!

First class operation, 2016-02-15
Captain: , Loudon, TN (10)

This isn't a very big yard but it's one of the best I've ever worked with. They are fast and efficient and do outstanding paint, fiberglass and mechanical work. The recent Awlgrip job applied topside looks incredible. They did a major rehab on our 16 year-old boat and it looks Bristol now. Great work.

Quality Service with Integrity, 2015-08-12
Captain: , Tellico Harbor, TN (49)

This is one of the rare boatyards that can supply you either full service or DYI. Manager Tony Hale's word is his bond, and everything that is done here is backed up 100%. They have two TravelLifts and the large one is 100 Ton. You can find all the boatyard skills here that you will ever need. I have had a bottom peel/repair/osmotic barrier done, bottom painting, zincs, etc here and always have been very satisfied.

Best boatyard, 2014-07-01
Captain: , Burnt Store, FL (489)

We called with a mysterious alarm on our Zeus pod drives. The boat was pulled, problem corrected and an entire laundry list of other work list items repaired at the same time. Top notch service and quality. A free covered dock is available for customers.

The best as good as Hinkley, 2014-05-14
Captain: , Punta Gorda FL (1709)

This yard is as good as it gets, outside of Hinkley, and at half the price. They know what they are doing, protect everything with plastic and their owner is a stickler for clean up and the details. Have been boating for 40 yerars and have been in dozens of yards. If you are anywhere on the Tennessee River, even if you have to run one one engine for 200 miles, come here. They will do the job right the first time and make the Mrs. happy. FYI, my job was replacing a 190 gallon fuel tank. It had to come out through the galley. When they were done, you couldnt tell it had been replaced. Not a scratch. Incredible.

Great for repairs, 2013-09-29
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, FL (603)

The facility is small and unfancy. The management is great and very accomodating. We came in with another boat that had an oil sensor fail; filling the bilge with nasty stuff. They found a replacemnt and cleaned up the oil and had it done by noon the next day.

A place to be for repairs, 2011-11-02
Captain: , Tellico Marina (290)

I have had a bad tank removed, shafts replaced, hull painted and much more. They are accomodating and work with you. I was satisfied with their service.

Good work yard, 2009-01-03
Captain: , Starkville, Mississippi (58)

Knowledgeable staff, friendly and helpful. Big Travel Lift (75 tons, I think; call Tony if questions)

Haul Out and Bottom Paint, 2008-11-18
Captain: , Knoxville, TN (1788)

Good Yard. They were able to get us turned around in a very short amount of time. Be sure that you confirm whether Estimates include sales tax

Good working yard, 2008-08-26
Captain: , baltimore md (634)

Newer repair yard. Set up very well with water and electric at each work area. Dan the yardmaster very knowledgable. No hidden costs or charges. I would give them a shot. We did some of our own work.

Excellent yard!, 2008-03-18
Captain: , Lenoir City, TN (229)

Had my boat pulled for a bottom job, prop service and cosmetic work on the hull. Outstanding quality work and very competetive pricing. It's a shame they are not closer to my marina
