Reviews for Harbor Springs Municipal Marina
This town is totally worth a visit, 2015-09-11
Captain: , Burnham Harbor, Chicago (251)

We took a day trip from Petoskey to Harbor Springs and tied up at the Harbor Springs Municipal Marina shopping dock. WOW! This town is a gem. Super clear water and great Shopping. Saw the 198' Blue Moon docked there when we visited. If it's good enough for Mr. D., it's good enough for anyone.

Great stop and town., 2015-08-18

Stayed here three days total, on two different occasions. Love this town. Step off the boat and at the end of the dock is a great restaurant. Bike the town and look around, you will want to come back.

Premium docks at fair price, 2015-07-11

Marina did not take reservations, but call in early in the morning worked for us. We were told by other boaters that overflow is sent to Petosky to wait for opening in Harbor Springs.

Harbor Master came out to help us in. Wide, long wells, wide fairway. Newer, wide docks - some even have stand-up docktail tables. The usual clean restrooms and showers. Very close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Lots of room to walk your dog, poop bags provided at several locations. Did not find any close grocery stores.

Did not seem to want buisness, 2015-06-14
Captain: , LaSalle MI (597)

Pulled in 6/6/2015 and since we were not part of the small Boyne City rhendezvous, about 6 or 7 boats, we were put on the inside of the pump out dock even though there were plenty of other slips available. there was a dinghy in the dock which made us use extra cords to reach power outlets. We were the only transient for two days so space was not a problem. Facility was in pretty nice shape. The town has become a bit to uppity for our taste, downtown was empty of shoppers for two days.

Great spot, 2014-12-13
Captain: , ann arbor (120)

We spent 4 days there late July 2014. The staff was outstanding. Mike Johnson who works at the docks and is an avid racer was super helpful. You can easily walk to great restaurants and shops. We enjoyed sitting on the bow of our boat and saying hello to the people walking the main dock. It's fun if you want lots of foot traffic, which we did for a bit. Not a good place for privacy though.

Facilities were clean and all worked perfectly. There's lots of service availalbe from the marine shops near by.

some information, 2014-08-01
Captain: , Beaufort NC (500)

Harbor Springs has a convenient grocery store that offer courtesy pick up, we needed to provision. The New York restaurant was fabulous and offers 2 for 1 entrees from 5-5:30pm we hit this by accident. Only two streets in town, we found a nice bike ride along the bay where we enjoyed seeing some beautiful homes. ok stop

Nice marina.
Anchorage is available not far from it.
Busy place

Marina is right downtown. Easy walk to much shopping, grocery store about 1/2 mile up hill. Grounds are well kept, however the main dock is a popular place for tourists to stroll and view boats that are docked

Nice stop!, 2009-08-25

Nice folks, nice ambiance. Very cooperative deckhands, and the town is pretty. Good place to be stuck, if you have to be!
