Reviews for Harbor Refuge
Good for avoiding weather, 2015-12-17
Captain: , Bay Saint Louis (161)

Took the inside pass from ocean city to avoid weather, had intended to stay at the city marina further up in inlet but was not able to find it. Used this as my "Plan B " I only gave this 3 stars due to lack of facilities, I pulled in and as its off season was no one there working, I found a slip that looked empty, and pulled in. This is mainly a commercial fishing harbor, Spoke to couple of the local fisherman and they were very helpful and friendly, even offered to take me into town on their way so i coulld get a few things and brought me back. Later Town Manager came down and had me fill out application and collected payment (15 a day two day minimum)He was very polite and mentioned the city dock and that i could move there due to no water or electric at this dock this time of year, I declined as hate to retrace where i just left. This is a very remote located harbor with minimal services but it serves its purpose very well, I would highly advise stopping into this Town and using the city marina, everything is walking distance.

24/7 fuel dock, 2014-10-31
Captain: , Boston, MA (20)

After negotiating a tricky channel coming in I was pleasantly surprised to find a 24/7 fuel dock with gas and diesel, no cash, credit cards only

A great overnight stop, 2014-10-11
Captain: , WARWICK, RI (62)

Stopped on our way south to Norfolk. Harbormaster: Wayne was very accommodating. Not much there but had a good experience. We stayed on the fuel dock for the night. No ammenities, but the price was right and the sunset was fantastic. A refuge for sure.

Truly a Refuge, 2012-09-13
Captain: , Fort Myers, Fl. (70)

When my brother and I left Robert Reed Park we encountered a small engine problem that forced us into this working marina. Not many pleasure boats, but many working boats. harbor master was Wayne and he was a gentleman as were all those we met there. Fuel dock took credit cards and we left there very happy.

Town Marina, 2011-02-03
Captain: , Chincoteague Island, VA (148)

This is a real nice marina managed by the town and is located on the southern tip of the Island. Ample parking. There is a fee to use the launch and overnite slips are available for a fee but you must contact the Harbor Master to reserve one. Fuel will be available by midsummer 2011. Several Charter Boats operate out of this Marina.
