Reviews for Harbor Island West Marina
Nice clean marina with pool, 2016-12-10
Captain: , Victoria (70)

We stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed it. Clean facility with lots nearby and a lovely pool and hottub to use as well. Showers were decent and the marina staff were very accommodating.

Great place to stay, 2015-03-20
Captain: , Seattle (396)

We stayed here for a month while waiting for the 2014 Baja Ha Ha. The facilities are great, the staff (overall) very pleasant and helpful. The fuel dock approach is easy, the wifi comes and goes. We stayed on the far west end of the marina, by chance. But, that is the correct side if you want to dinghy to the food stores on the other side of America's Cup Harbor. We took a cable and lock for our dinghy when leaving the marina area. There are sufficient Cars-2-Go around near the marina, you can walk to get MX fishing licenses, and there is a great boat museum nearby. A great place to stay!

Good Marina, 2013-05-31
Captain: , Kemah, TX (234)

I stayed here a number of times as a reciprocal for Dana West Marina. I always enjoyed it and the staff was good. No complaints at all.

I visited the fuel dock, 2012-06-09
Captain: , San Diego, CA (1239)

On my way to Point Loma Marina I visited the fuel dock at Harbor Island West Marina. The approach to the fuel dock is easy. There are Gas and Diesel pumps along the whole dock and there is also a small store that sells bait, beer and other engine supplies. If you need your oil changed you can get that service arranged at the fuel dock too. The fuel price is higher than at the car gas pump, but it's to be expected. The service was friendly and helpful.

7 Years as a livaboard here., 2012-06-01
Captain: , Evergreen, Co (597)

I spent 7 years as a livaboard here at Harbor Island West and other than the "I don't care about my tenents" attitude of management it was a nice place to live. Beware of a car stealing ring that prays on the parking lot and the lack of enough security to stop it.
It can be a bit noisy when the planes take off from Coranado and Lindberg.

I enjoyed it., 2011-09-12

I lived aboard here for several years and enjoyed my stay. Everything I needed was close by.
