Reviews for Halsey's Marina
Best marina in Three Mile Harbor, 2016-12-14
Captain: , Three Mile Harbor (60)

Clean, beautiful, facilities, and top-notch staff. Bring your tender or kayaks/paddleboards to explore the harbor, which is gorgeous. Free wifi, grills for cooking, and laundry! Restaurants are close by. Mechanical repairs are available - the company that operates the marina also operates a full-service boatyard right next door with factory-certified technicians. Highly recommended!

top-rated dockmaster and setting, 2016-07-08

We went into Halseys after a week at anchor. We were put off by the price at first, but I needed to get testing equipment for my charging system problem. We ended up having a wonderful time and staying an extra day, largely due to attitude and abiliity of the dockmaster, Les. He is concise, competent, knowledgable in all things a cruiser mght need or want, and happy to help in any way possible. Les is also a real yachtsman and runs the small marina like it is his home and you are his guest.

Everything is clean and serene, with free laundry, free BBQs, and clubhouse in a beautiful and protected location. Fixed docks have lots of cushions afixed and are in perfect condition. The Wifi is free and the best speed I have ever tested in a marina (21Mbps down and 13Mbps up!).

Matt, the mechanic referred by Les, was a genuine professional and worked with me to diagnose and repair my electrical problem using his testing equipment. I am always afraid to hire "mechanics" since so many "make repairs" by merely replacing things till the system works - Matt is not in that bunch! I recommend him.

We will return to this marina, as much to see Les as to visit the area.

A marina to keep on the "A" list., 2015-01-04
Captain: , Branford,Ct (40)

We were staying at Harbor Marina and had to be moved to Halsey Marina. Les the manager was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The accommodations were excellent. It was like a private club with barbeque grills and picnic tables. We rode our folding bikes into Easthampton for a most enjoyable afternoon. This a "must visit marina." We we left Les insisted that we text him to be sure that we had safely returned to home port. Thank you Les, we will see you again.

Calm and Serene, 2011-06-11

We stayed at Halsey's Marina on our 54 foot motor yacht. Three Mile Harbor can be a bit busy at times, but Halsey's is tucked nicely away in a corner of the Harbor and is serene. The marina itself is modest but quite clean and well cared for. I am rating it 4 stars for its location more than for its services. Hop into your dinghy to enjoy the action at East Hampton Point Marina or to enjoy the very good dining at Maidstone Harbor Marina.

Stay in the marked channel as you approach. The water can be quite thin at low tide outside the channel.

It is a distance from the Town of East Hampton and the taxi cabs are not cheap during the summer months.

Beautiful HIdeaway, 2009-09-05

I stayed here for a week in august of 2009. The peacefulness of this little yacht club, tucked away at the foot of Three Mile Harbor, is remarkable. Neat as a pin, it offers a clubhouse, wi-fi, grills and bathrooms with showers. Only drawback: cell phone reception can be iffy.

Quiet picturesque setting, 2008-09-08
Captain: , Stratford, CT (146)

We stayed at Halsey's in July 2008 because they had space for us and it is one of the closer marinas to town. Still not very close, but good excercise. For dinner we opted for a taxi one night and took advantage of the grill the next. Absolutely the best barbeque grill I have ever seen in a marina - better than the one I have at home!

Halsey's is a warm, friendly place.
