Reviews for Hall of Fame Marina
This place is great!, 2016-08-27
Captain: , Not Currently Applicable (71)

We pulled in here in a 36 foot sailboat for what was supposed to be one night. The staff was very friendly and helped us tie up at the dock. The restroom facility is clean and air conditioned. When it looked like storm Invest 99L was going to threaten our forward progress, we decided to stay for 5 nights. The staff was totally accomodating. Great beach access and great restaurants within walking distance. Also a gas station nearby to get ice and snacks. Wifi works great.

Captain: , Huron,OH - Little River, SC (630)

Just received communication from them regarding seasonal dockage. For a 37 foot sailboat, they want $2,000 per month for a 5 month stay.
Hard to put a star rating as this is just an update, but will go with 2 stars because it does seem a bit pricey

great spot!, 2016-03-24
Captain: , Detroit (150)

The people here are great! Very helpful and kind. We are a 57 ft with 4.5 draft. No problem. Fun to watch the big boats come in a Bahia Mar. Make the inlet tight. But, can be navigated. Great location a block from the beach!

Good Stay, economical for Ft. Lauderdale, 2016-01-15
Captain: , Bristol, RI (762)

Staff couldnt be nicer. The price (for the area) is very good. Docks are fixed with about 2 feet of tide. Good part of town with easy access to the beach, restuarants and marine services.

great place to stay, 2015-06-16
Captain: , Cozumel, Mx (310)

Stayed 7 nights here. Dedie and the rest of the staff were wonderful. The price was very fair and you can't beat the location. Wonderful restaurants and the beach so close. Security was great and parking was close. It is not a shiny new place but with all the great features who cares. I'll b back

South side of marina, 2015-02-18
Captain: , Annapolis (2677)

The south side of the marina is the dinghy dock where the boats less than 60 feet get put. Lots of construction. tired facilities. Only worth the price because it is in
liquordale. Would be a $1.00 marina anywhere else. Tired, run down dirty. The lights from the pool are bright enough to shine through the hull. lots of new development and soon it will be a $3.00 marina.

Good place, great location, weak on facilities, 2014-11-19
Captain: , CapnPMF (100)

Stayed here for over a month..The pluses--nice staff, close to beach, lots of public transit, security at gate, very nice docks, good laundry facilities, easy to meet fellow boaters. Minuses--limited parking, bathrooms on south dock are very tiny, no lounge, lights and night activities at hall of fame marina can be unpleasant. Good news--big plans to upgrade marina, swim hall of fame is moving. If prices remain lower than nearby competitors, it is a good value.

Close to action, 2014-03-22
Captain: , Key Largo (5304)

Walkable to beaches, bars, and make SURE YOU TAKE THE WATER TAXI! Wow what a treat. See how the other half lives for $5. Mega yachts, mega homes, big $$ .

Prices are higher in 2014, $2.15 a ft. plus 30 cents a foot for electric!!

Hall of Fame Marina, 2013-06-12
Captain: , Oriental, NC (220)

We have stayed here twice and have much enjoyed both visits. The main selling point here is location, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach; lots of places to eat in the area.

The docks are OK and the shower facilities are cramped but mostly adequate.

OK facilities; great location, 2013-04-26
Captain: , currently Plantation Yacht Harbor, Islamorada, Fla. Keys (4407)

There are two seperate dockage areas, north for 80' and up and south for up to 80'. Each has single dock with short fingers. We found the staff pleasant but the facility bare bones. Have access tothe pool at the Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame which seperates the two dock areas. Price is reasonable but not significantly less than Bahia Mar, next door.

Hall of Fame Marina, 2012-05-05
Captain: , Baltimore, Maryland (330)

We chose this as a safe harbor for two nights through a series of storms and high winds. The slip was great, but the bathrooms average, and could have been better kept. The attendant likes to take your spring lines first for tying up, but will only tell you afterwards. if you give him another line, better tell him what to do with it. Short walk to a nice beach and restaurants, and to a 7 Eleven. If you are lucky enough to be there during some swimming or diving competition, do not miss it, since the facility is part of the complex. Do not come to this palce late, since the attendants will not wait for you.

First time we stayed, 2012-01-18
Captain: , Ft Laud (20)

This was our forth year in coming back to Ft Lauderdale during the warm winter months. We love the town and all it has to offer. This was the first time we chose to stay at Hall of Fame Marina and I have to say we most likely wont return. The staff were pleasant but the facility was lacking....the pool is a large commercial diving pool and they had a kids meet when we were there. The docks were fixed and narrow. We rarely saw anoyon on a boat in the marina and the view from our dock was over to Bahia Mar where it just looked like a real boating community. We stay for the legnth of our reservsation and were glad to get back out on the water. Price was reasonable but we would rather pay more and enjoy ourselves than just dock the boat...

Great location but, 2011-12-06
Captain: , Charleston, SC (364)

We have been stopping here twice a year for several years. Great location with friendly and knowledgeable staff. But the staff is limited and you must be prepared to on occassion dock with out assistance. Also sometimes there will no response to VHF calls.
Two basins, one for mega yachts and one for smaller boats ( 60 ft ). Fort Lauderdale is the home of mega yachts and as you would expect at most marinas they will receive priority.

Convenient, 2011-08-28
Captain: , New Port, RI (134)

Hall of Fame is coneniently located on the ICW and walking distance to great resturants and the beach. You can launch the dingy and head up the New River for sight seeing and a break from the marina. A little pricy, but the norm for the area.

Right in th emiddle of things, 2011-04-13
Captain: , Kilmarnock, VA (290)

Have stayed there for a bit over a week and really found the location to be right in the middle of things. Easy walking distance to the Ft Lauderdale beaches and attractions. The car traffic can be a bit heavy with spring break but a good stop over. Fixed docks and plenty of space for turning and manuvering. Staff was friendly and helpful. The marina has security gates which keeps the pedistrian traffic down which is important given the crowds.
