Reviews for Gull Harbor Marina
Very Old Looking Marina..., 2015-06-24
Captain: , Lake Erie (148)

We were looking for safe harbor from an incoming storm with 50 to 60 MPH winds. We called the marina phone number (no hailing listed). The office is not in the marina and the secretary were very unaccomodating in an urgent situation. She said she would have the marina manager call us but it would be a while. We pulled into the marina anyway. The docks look very shabby (old wood floating docks). There is a long wood floating facedock inside the protected barrier that is taken up by resident boats. It looked like the only dock that could accomodate our 47 foot boat but there was no room. 20 minutes after we left we got a call from the marina manager telling us they don't usually take transient boaters.

Called on the phone and got a call back saying they didn't do transient dockage.

Friendly folks, 2012-05-21

The slips are well protected and the people were friendly and flexible when we made arrangements for a short term rental of a slip. It's a nice lowkey place. Be aware that the marina is next to a strip of open air waterfront bars that are very active (and noisy) on summer niights.
