Reviews for Green Point Landing Marina
Captain: , East Falmouth, MA (1523)

There are several good anchorages in Worton Creek but we chose to pick up a mooring as the forecast was for wind gusts to 35k. The mooring field is around 5' at low tide so we stirred up some mud, otherwise, no problem.

Quaint, delightful, restfull, and friendly marina!, 2015-07-23
Captain: , Moyock, NC (984)

If the operator owner Jordan Clark doesn't answer a phone message don't be too concerned, he may be working at the top of a mast or moving boats. If you leave a message he will listen to it and know about it, but usually forgets to return calls. Best to leave a message and telephone him on his cell phone upon approach. Upon arrival we were quickly accomodated with a friendly host of fellow boat owner's, people working on their boats, and Jordan was also immediately at hand. Surprisingly he takes care of many things simontaineously, always has time to talk (especially over a morning cup of coffee), and doesn't forget anything. The docks are in good condition, the facilities are clean, nice, and attractive. There's an outdoor picnic area with grilles, inside lounge area with coffee and cold drinks, and a small stores upstairs, adjacent to the office. Laundry is availabe next door and an occassional ride to town maybe made available for trainsients. As usual Jordan was busy on multiple projects, but always cordial and accomodating.

Green Point Landing moorings, 2014-09-28
Captain: , Kent Narrows, MD (200)

Came in to get out of a strong Nor'easter. Moorings are now $25 per nite. Well secluded, good refuge. Spent two nites.

nice marina but manager is a jerk, 2014-06-19
Captain: , Deale, Maryland (20)

Avoid this place. Manager is incompetent and a jerk and should not be allowed to deal with public. When I told him not to push on lifeline stantions to move the boat at the fuel dock he became insulted and walked off. would not sell us fuel.

Great hidden location (Condor-40 JAZ), 2013-12-09
Captain: , Honolulu, HI (71)

Oops. wrong location. See Great Oak Landing a little south.

Keep #5 to port upon entry, 2013-09-07
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (1187)

Caution: Follow your eyes not the chart upon entry. Navionics shows a marsh to the right of #5 when entering the creek. The marsh is actually to the left. Green Point staff report having to pull numerous boats whose skippers followed their charts instead of their eyes!

Left our boat for the 2012-13 winter, 2013-05-07

The folks who own Green Pt Landing Marina do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Although Worton Creek is far from urban services that is part of its charm. May 5, 2013 $35 a night for mooring. The bathrooms/showers are clean and right near the docks. The cellphone reception is not good but they have free wi-fi.

So so service, good location, 2013-04-09
Captain: , Worton Creek, MD (290)

Green Point is ok, but you are not going to get super service here. Many times I have gone over to buy gas and I have to hunt down the owners. The docks are not in the best of shape either. However, it is in a very convenient location- less than 1 mile to the Bay.

This is my kind of marina. A great father and son team who know boats and their crews They just took terrific care of us on our first real anchorage in the Bay. We decided to leave our sloop there over the winter so that we could jump off for a couple of weeks in the spring. I look forward to being there just for the genuine camaraderie of sailors and other kindred spirits.
Easy in and out. It is the first of three marinas that you encounter at the head of the creek.

Hard to Rate, 2012-12-02
Captain: , Nyack, NY (556)

We arrived after hours at the end of the season and got no response by radio or after hours phone. Be careful coming in as water can be thin and track is not straight. we picked up a mooring and had a quiet night when it was choppy on the bay.

Nice enough folks but why not anchor?, 2012-06-19
Captain: , Windy (170)

Green Pointe is a decent folksy marina with limited facilities. It is a beautiful spot, but I would need aspecific reason to pay $20 for a morring or more for a slip before returnings - afterall, the sizable anchroage is just beyond the morring field.

Quiet, laid back and friendly, 2011-06-08
Captain: , Pennsville, NJ (195)

clean showers and toilets, friendly and helpful staff. Dinghy racks, small store, grills and picnic areas. Isolated little working yard and marina with excellent outboard shop on site. Convenient to everywhere on the northern bay. Liked it so much, I made it my home.

Quiet and friendly, 2010-11-18
Captain: , Here and There (443)

Nice marina, a bit isolated. Quiet and friendly, a very relaxed atmosphere. The northernmost slips are somewhat exposed to NW winds. I was told a vehicle was available to customers to run into town, but a dockmate made his car available. It does lack laundry facilities. Dinghy racks and outboard motor shed available on shore. WiFi is available, but bandwidth is limited and connectivity is variable.

I really miss Green Point Landing, 2010-02-24
Captain: , Old Saybrook, CT (21)

I had a mooring here for two years. Green Point Landing has everything that you would want from an Eastern Shore boat yard: a beautiful protected mooring field, easy access to the sound, laid back and friendly service from everyone on the staff, great dockmates... I could go on, but suffice to say that if and when I get back to this area, I will definitely keep my boat here.
