Reviews for Green Flash Restaurant
Great stop for lunch, 2016-07-03
Captain: , Cincinnati (65)

Great food, no problem docking for lunch with our dingy.

go for dinner, 2015-08-09
Captain: , Sanibel Island, FL (10)

we went for dinner, the bread and butter is excellent, my wife couldn't stop eat it, bread was toast and hot, we order. Pinot Grigio Boyle and the server pour it professionally, our seat was to the east with a nice view to the docks. No ocean view, the view is to the beautiful bay. I order the special Sea Bass it was cooked perfectly, my daughter order Filet mignon demiglase it was delicious and my wife order the Pork Wellington with yellow rice, big portion taste excellent,
great place for dinner, place is elegant so please dress according.

Great Escargot Revisited, 2013-09-11
Captain: , Sanford, FL (657)

Back here by car from Sanibel this time in September, 2013. The escagot was still great, the raw oysters were fresh and sweet. The rib eye steak was grilled perfectly and served with asparagus and mushrooms. The Linguine special was loaded with shrimp and scallops. And to top it all off their Key lime desert was especialy tasty. Our waitress was Nora. She is from Russia and just a little sweetie. I love this place. We anchored out and dinghied in early in the day. We walked to the beach and enjoyed that for several hours. When we wallked back we decided to have lunch at the Green Flash. The Mango Margueritas are excellent and we tried the escargot (done just right 6 minutes) and the Hot Flash Shrimp. Service wes also great.

Dock and Dine, 2013-08-24
Captain: , Boyd, Texas (390)

Good food, nice atmosphere. Average resort prices. Let us dock for a few hours to explore after our meal.

Free dinghy dock, delicious drinks, 2013-05-20
Captain: , Oriental (321)

This restaurant was a regular stop for us when we wanted to check out the beach. They never had an issue with us parking our dinghy there and their mixed drinks are a wonderful price to pay for this access.

Great food on the water, 2013-05-11
Captain: , Punta Gorda, Fl (880)

Restaurant view to the east waterway, so no green flash possible here. Dining experience is excellent--lunch or dinner. Go by boat or car. Docking has limited slips, no help, so go early. Be sure and go in the ladies and mens rooms!!

Great lunch, 2013-01-15
Captain: , Brandon, MS (65)

Pulled in for lunch. Good food and great service. Try the Conch Chowder, it's great!

Decent food, Fancy atmosphere, 2012-12-18
Captain: , Block Island, RI (954)

This place is definitely not a waterfront dive, which for some reason was what I was anticipating. Instead, it was a very nice bar and restaurant with decent, though not exceptional food. The owner is a nice guy originally from Switzerland. Docks out front for tying up or dinghying in. We were there in the off season, so I have no idea how crowded it can get. Personally, I would skip it next time.

Food was excellent, 2012-07-06
Captain: , MA and Southwest FL (538)

We had a great meal. The wine selections were nice, too. Don't forget to visit the bathrooms for a laugh. Great views of the intracoastal. Easy access by boat.

Great Restaurant, 2012-03-15
Captain: , Punta Gorda FL (1709)

Worth a visit. Reasonable prices. Good value. Flounder Muniere was wonderful. Great views as glass all around. Restrooms are humorous. Dinghy dock is available and Island grocery and other great restaurants close by. Vist the Bubble Room and their gift shop. Lots of fun for whole family.

Great Food and Free Dock, 2012-02-14
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (4015)

Our 40' boat with 4'2" draft had plenty of room at the dock. The food is wonderful, tasty, and unique. We are not the only ones who enjoyed the food as the restaurant was packed on weekday. My oysters Rockefeller even had a pearl. The beach is only a block away and the Island Grocery had about anthing you would need, including an huge selection of wines. Being securly tied to a nice dock gives one a good night's sleep, aided by a tummy full of delicious food. Doesn't get any better.

Great Place, good dockage., 2011-02-16
Captain: , Fort Myers Beach (276)

This place can easily handle up to 36' foot boats. Great place, great people. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
