Reviews for CenterPointe Yacht Services
Hit rocks but found Fantastic people and unbelieveable service, 2016-08-22
Captain: , Holland Michigan (10)

Mid way between our Door county vacation we hit rocks in northern Door county. After limping back to Sturgeon Bay on one engine we chose Centerpoint to check our 42 Regal and to do any repairs. What a Great choice! The facilities were top notch an the serice was unbelievable. The General Manager Scott Strang made us feel at home an re-assurded us they woul do whatever it takes to get us back in the water asap. After an expert haul out by Mike, Matt Donley the service administrator checked out our running gear. We needed 2 new props and 2 new shafts. He had Mark (great mechanic!) start taking things apart right away and we had parts ordered that day. That was on Friday, and by Monday we expected to have our new props and 2 manufactured shafts to us in Sturgeon bay by Tuesday night. Wednesday morning Mark began putting everything back together and we were back in the water by 2pm Wednesday. What a great group of employees Centerpoint has in Sturgeon Bay. They should be proud! Scott and Matt were awesome and along with Sue, Shannon, and Cathy in the office and odrering parts everything was smooth and great. They helped us with a rental car, and some great hard to find places to stay. I can't thank them all enough for getting us fixed up and back on vacation. If you ever go to Sturgeon Bay make sure to spend some time at the Centerpoint Marina. Best place to be in SB, and the facilities are top notch. If you need any service they are the ones to see!

The Best Service Marina, 2016-07-25
Captain: , Baltimore (40)

While on the Great Loop, we stored our boat at CenterPointe Yacht Services for the Winter of 2015/16. We found this marina thru a friend that we were travelling the Loop with, and it was the best advice we have received so far! The folks at CPYS are the best! We were able to travel up to the boat several times during the winter to work in a very pleasant environment (actually worked in shirt sleaves most of the time that i was there!). In the Spring we returned to find the boat exactly as we had left it. We splashed the boat and headed off to Canada to explore areas we missed in our first pass thru the North Channel. We are currently back in CPYS getting ready to head South to Chicago and on to Florida for the Winter. Our only regret is that we won't be able to keep our boat here this Winter. We will truly miss all the great people we met at CPYS. It was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend it to any of you Loopers who are planning to leave their boat someplace for the Winter.
