Reviews for Grand View Marina
No better place to leave a boat, 2014-10-10

Great security, if you don't belong there George knows it.

well maintained,and highly friendly, 2014-03-29
Captain: , waterloo,sc (22)

I lived at Grandview as a live-aboard from 2004-2006.When Ivan came thru,George and Beverly brought me into their home for safety.I had to return to W.Va shortly there-after,due to the death of my mother. Now I have recently acquired another boat,a 1967,45 foot Matthews. We were coming out of La.,headed to Dog River to do repairs. We got to the tricky Dog River inlet after dark.My boat,GRACE,had some damage from 2 previous storms, and we had no spotlight. To add insult to injury, our steering was also out.Steering only by the RPM's of the engines,we were having a hard time coming in.George Hall, the marinas owner, parked his truck on top of the DIP-Dog River bridge, and guided us in by flashlight.Without this kind of dedicatition,we may have ran aground. We have nothing by the highest of praises for these people, and would suggest that anyone wanting to stay in the area for any length of time,to consider the Grand View.

Well kept and quite, 2008-03-14
