Reviews for Genoa Bay Marina
Marina ver good .... restaurant superb!, 2015-07-18
Captain: , Pender Harbour, BC (351)

Wooden docks in good shape, power is good (wi-fi is not). Staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is very "laid back". Good place to simply relax and enjoy the scenery. Nice little art gallery and standard dock store. There is a shuttle to Cowichan if you need groceries etc.
The Genoa Bay Cafe (as it seems everyone agrees) is a truly wonderful place for dinner. A seat on the deck is best, and the food will not dissapoint. Try the prawn lettuce wraps!

Fantastic restaurant, 2014-07-26

The marina is quiet, staff friendly, store has essentials. However, the main reason to stop is the restaurant, Genoa Bay Cafe. This is the third time we have been in this area, and stopped. Each time it has set new marks. The menu and food can compete with anyone's definition of a TOP restaurant. The also have gluten-free menu.

Nice marina, good food, 2013-09-07
Captain: , Bozeman, MT (740)

We enjoyed our stay here. The bay is pretty, the people friendly and the food good. Avoid the water though, they are on a well and it's just barely potable.

Genoa Bay and Restaurant, 2013-08-29
Captain: , Sidney BC (582)

We have stayed here numerous times. It is a funky spot with a lot of character. Very friendly dock staff and the store is neat but not too much in the way of merchanidse. The restaurant has great meals and is a big part of why we stop here. Stayed here on our way back from Desolation in 2013. This is one of our favourite Marina's on the coast. We are attracted by the character and access of the place and its beautiful location. Staff friendlier and more accommodating than ever. Store has been upgraded somewhat and has good selection of wearing apparel.

Lovely, unspoiled, rustic. 5 star restaurant!

Nice out of the way spot, great docks, helped us tie up. Free BBQ area on the dock. Good washrooms.

Visit Duncan, 2009-06-02
Captain: , Paradise Valley, AZ (572)

Visit the Town of Duncan and the ‘Quw’utsun Cultural Centre’ where you will find carving and knitting demonstrations, traditional salmon BBQs, dancing and displays. Stay for a meal in the Riverwalk Cafe which serves delicious native delicacies. See more than 30 totems displayed in downtown Duncan…“The City of Totems”.

End-of-the-road Friendly, 2007-01-26
Captain: , DH, WA (1714)

This marina is at the end of the road, which makes it's landside attractions unhurried and quiet. There is a well-know restauant at the head of the dock and a fine little art gallery floating alongside. The owners are helpful and constantly improving the facilities. The mountain trails just to the northwest are a wonderful place for hardy hikers, and the quiet road leading to Maple Bay (6 km) is perfect for the not-so-hardy.
