Windmill blade factory near here. If you have never seen the blades up close, go see them.

Perce Rock and Ile Bonaventure are 70 km away. This is a great place to stay while you rent a car to head out there. Should not be missed.

Worth the extra miles, 2016-10-05

September. We stayed here the best part of a week waiting out fallout from the hurricane in the atlantic. Third night half price! Good food in town - walking distance, groceries too. Good facilities and pleasant staff.

Excellent stop 28 August 2016, 2016-09-06
Captain: , Boston (111)

We chose this marina for a winter haulout due to it's location and reputation. The facility is modern and well run. Laundry, Showers and bath facilities are clean and extensive. The staff are very friendly and professional. Nothing but praise for anyone connected with this facility right near downtown Gaspe. There is a supermarket and a Canadian Tire store right around the corner.

Glad we stayed here, 2016-07-29

We stayed at Gaspe Marina two nights, the sommelier Florian is great, very energetic and helpful. National rental car picked us up the marina, we drove to Forillon park for hiking, lots of history and beautiful hikes. Nice stores and eateries on the Main Street of town plus two large grocery stores within walking distance.

Clean, friendly, close to town, 2014-11-05
Captain: , Montreal (253)

Owing to the clubhouse being rebuilt after fire damage (June 2014), there was not much on-site other than the basics (which are clean and well-maintained) with friendly, English-speaking staff. However, just a short walking distance into town which has everything. A welcome harbour after many nm of small fishing towns between here and Matane/Rimouski.

Recovering from a Fire, 2014-07-26
Captain: , Corpus Christi, TX (732)

Fire in Marina Office last winter...still recovering with temporary quarters. Tied on outer dock, which was First-Class large floating facility with good power and water. Pumpout doesn't appear to have worked in a long time, but we have found that to be common in most marinas. Grocery nearby; town interesting but small. Wi-fi marginal.

Not impressed, 2013-06-24
Captain: , Toronto, ON (1749)

The guidebooks make this out to be a first-rate facility. It was overpriced and over-rated. The fact that we waited 45 minutes to get diesel (and gave up and went to a slip) and that their pumpout wasn't hooked up, and they didn't seem to care, was annoying.

Last chance for provisionning, 2013-04-16
Captain: , Oka, Quebec (260)

If you're going up the St-Lawrence, you won't find a lot of grocery stores until Matane. The town of Gaspe is nice but you have to cross 2 routes to go there.
The service at the marina was first class. They reorganized the docks in 2010.
Don't miss the bike trail to Haldimand Beach.

Great jumping off point to see see Perce Rock and Ile Bonaventure, 2011-10-20
Captain: , Solomons, MD (1915)

We were docked out near the fuel dock. Slightly longer walk into the office but no big deal. We took on diesel here. Diesel in Canada does not have dye added to it. It is clear. We rented a car and drove out to take the tour boat to Perce Rock and Ile Bonaventure. Do not miss the opportunity to see the gannets on Ile Bonaventure.
Additionally with the rail station here it is a good place to have guests meet you.

Fantastic Place, 2010-10-16
Captain: , North Myrtle Beach, SC (3210)

The ony thing that keeps it froma 5 star is long walk to facilities. REnt cars, etc from here is very easy to do Train station.... See GAspe Pensula from here via car is great. Nice town and much to see.

Transients to outside dock, 2010-07-24
Captain: , Baltimore, MD (1318)

We were put on the outside dock, relatively exposed, but a plus is the adequate 30A power. Calmed down at night, but would likely be bumpy in a NE blow due to fetch from bay. Still, a nice spot, enough in town to make it worth the stop. Dockmaster spoke english.

Very small marina, 2010-03-02
Captain: , Sarasota (1427)

As with the previous reviewer, we shared the outside dock with the junior sailing club. Fortunatley, the wind and seas were calm. Town has restaurants and fish markets.

Great place to explore Gaspe Penisula from, 2008-08-17
Captain: , Newport, RI (10275)

We went to Gaspe because we wanted to rent a car to explore the area. Budget will deliver a car to the marina (call direct for best price.) There are limited slips in the harbor, so you'll probably end up on the floating dock outside of the marina. That's OK, but we ended up with waves slapping at the hull early each morning. The overall facility was nice.
