Reviews for Galway Harbour
Galway Harbour - charm in the centre of the old city, 2012-12-18
Captain: , Westport, Ireland (511)

It's not the cleanest harbour in the world as the water only leaves for a short time around slack water when the gates open, but it is one of the most interesting as it is right in the middle of the old city of Galway. Restaurants, pubs, shops, busking, the University, and all its excitement right there. It is also in the middle of the West coast providing one of the few opportunities to avail of a marina in the West of Ireland. There are major plans for expansion so stay tuned.
