Reviews for Free City Dinghy Dockage
St Michaels, the free way, 2016-07-05
Captain: , Iuka, MS (1120)

Dinghy tie-up at city park when anchoring on San Domingo Ck. Short walk to the main drag. Recommend Ava's for pizza and good beer/wine selection. Justine's for ice cream. Quaint, but touristy town with Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum as a major attraction. Historic Eastern Shore town.

Easy Docking Spot, 2016-06-05
Captain: , Oxford, MD (10)

Easy to use and quick walk to restaraunts.

Easy access to St Michaels, 2012-10-09
Captain: , Cape Coral, FL (1476)

Nice dinghy dock; can use the wooden dock (left side, out of the way of the local fisherman), or use the bulkhead along the park which is a bit lower and easier to climb. Dog walking in park, with plastic dog waste bags provided (northeast corner of park). Trash cans at base of wooden dock. Easy walk to town, Acme Food just a few blocks to north on Talbot, the main street.

Free Dink Dock, 2011-06-10
Captain: , Full Time Cruisers (2244)

The last leg of the approach to the free dock is a no wake zone. Keep to your left when you approach the dock and go around to the "backside" to find space for your dink . The local waterman use the face of the T-dock for their boats. Sound dock, leave room the next guy and only tie up with your painter, don't be hoggish and tie up with painter and a stern line, also, do not tilt up motor - thanks

Dinghy dock, 2011-05-24
Captain: , Caseville, MI (341)

Left our dinghy here while touring the town with no problems. Short walk up Chew Street to the main street.

Back Door to St. Mike's, 2011-04-26
Captain: , Annapolis (795)

If you can brave the creek to get here, this is a great option for staying near St. Mike's. Although I've never had a problem, it might be a good idea to have a lock for your dinghy motor, since the dock and adjacent park are generally out of the way.

Great way to see St Michaels from the southern waters.
