Reviews for Frankfort Boat Club
Friendly people, easy access to downtown, 2016-11-03

We did an overnight to Frankfort from Madison, IN in early October. It was a nice distance for an overnight with two small boys and my dad. The people are helpful at the marina, the lock creas are as well. Though if you're used to big river locks, you'll find them slow to fill with their old school valves. The marina is in decent shape, has a shower on the dock and a bathroom in the floating barge resturant/bar. Beware of the steep ganway up to shore, downtown Frankfort is very nice. Many dinner choices. The night we were there, a Saturday, had a live band with a lot of noise until past midnight. Not a good nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was good though and the fuel prices are fair.

the most welcoming Marina we've been to. they go way out of the way to make your stay the best. the little restaurant is very good and all the folks are helpful. there are no negatives. 14 ft dockside with water and electricity. $30 per night.
I guess there is one negative. the locks only operate Friday through Sunday. that's not a lot of time to visit this wonderful city. you may want to stay a week.
