Reviews for Frankford Lockwall and Municipal Tieup
Nice quiet stop with electric and shade, 2016-07-08
Captain: , Buffalo,ny (60)

The lock masters help you tie up. They told us one side had morning shade and the other in the afternoon. Demitri's restaurant has great food and have special's like wing night and steak night.
Jim the owner said he'll drive you home if needed. I think he'll have you picked up as well!! The walk is not bad though. They also deliver to the lock.

Nice stop with electric, 2016-06-12
Captain: , Woodstock, Georgia (359)

We stopped here on June 8th. The Parks Canada Staff are very friendly and willing to share ifnormation about the locks and canal system. Outside the occasional traine whistle, it was quiet. It was a short walk to the showers. If you need water, make sure you have at least 200 fet of hose.

Perfect for what we wanted, 2015-08-23

Getting Started on the TSW and this was a nice stop. Quiet
Park Like and good staff. Every lock was a picnic place and good

Decent grocery store, hardware store, lcbo, post office within walking distance. Nice stopping point between Trenton and Campbellford. Walk down to park rather than the upper grassed area and you can avoid geese droppings.

Nice Stop at Lock 6 Wall with Electric, 2014-06-15
Captain: , Cape Coral, Fl (838)

We stopped at Lock 6 wall for the night. Only one of two Parks Canada lock walls with electric (I.e. Hydro).

Pleasant Stop, 2012-06-16

I agree with the previous report. The Lockmasters are very helpful. The walk to town was longer than we like and there was not too much there.

Good place to stay, 2012-06-16

We stayed above the lock on the east side. Very attractive park like grounds. Electric for $9.90. Dockage included with mooring pass otherwise .90/ft for dockage. Ten minute walk to town with grocery and restaurants. Parks Canada campground on west side with showers available to boaters also.
