Reviews for Fort Walton Yacht Basin
Last Fuel stop before Pensacola, 2017-05-08
Captain: , Beacon Beach, FL (115)

Stopped for fuel, they open at 0900 not 0800 as the website said and you'll need to call or walk upfront to find someone for the fuel dock but the staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Would stop here again.

Stayed for convenience to family 11-24/30-15, 2015-11-29

Stayed for convenience to family. On a weekly rate. Friendly staff. No Laundry, No Internet. Water and Power good. Wake was not an issue this time of year.

DO NOT STOP!, 2014-07-11
Captain: , Palm Beach (36)

I would have given it fewer stars if I could have. Rickety docks, marginal power and continuous wave wash from jet skis rented from vendor on adjacent property. Entrance markers from the ICW haven't been replaced since the last hurricane and a sand bar wraps around much of the dock area. Owner agreed to refund our night's dockage due to poor representation on his part regarding the facilities and then reneged on his promise. As I was writing this the owner did call and stated that he will indeed refund the dockage even though the credit card has been run. We shall see what happens.

Bypass it; there are alternatives, 2013-06-22
Captain: , Jersey City, NJ (190)

Short, narrow, rickety finger piers with piling right in the middle, requiring a hug and a wiggle to get around. Dockmaster was indifferent and just stood there watching us come in and tie up. Taking our lines seemed to be an imposition.

Expensive transient slip at $68 per night without power or water. Water depth inslp less than 5 feet.

Gas Ice and Pump Out, 2013-01-06
Captain: , Panama City, Florida (123)

That's all we've ever done here but it's a lot less crowded then the Brook's Bridge store. Gas prices are decent. We have had to circle around and wait our turn because the dock facility at the fuel pumps are very very small. We have actually pulled in, tied off and had to look for the dock master to fuel or pump out. But they're always very friendy and laid back. Never stayed in the slips.

Sparse, but friendly, 2011-07-23
Captain: , Clear Lake (72)

The fixed pier docks were wide (we have a 15 foot beam). The dockmaster was nice enough to leave a key for us since we were to arrive after he closed. Two private restrooms with one shower. Nice restaurant next door.

No laundry, no Wifi, very short and narrow fingers, so-so resturant friendly staff, more of a small boat rack marina, you need a car.

Great Facility, 2009-12-13

Staff competant and friendly. Walking distance to restaurants.
