Captain: , Anna Maria Island (573)

We stayed here twice our trip up river and our trip down river. They didn't answer the radio or phone either time we spoke with them as we hovered next to the fuel dock. The do have a good location and a good Resturant

This is a Top 10 Marina on the Tennessee, 2016-09-23
Captain: , Newburgh In (303)

This was a great marine to stop and relax/rest while cruising. Great docks, location, two on site resturants and Internet that works!!! We used their courtesy car for provisions and town is close. We stayed three days. If you like UT football this is the place to be to talk sports with dockmates.

One of the best !, 2016-06-10
Captain: , Whitesboro tx. (70)

We are cruising the upper Tennessee this month. Pulled into Fort Loudon marina the first of May intending to stay a day or two then move on. However, the marina is so nice, convenient , and is one of the few on the rivers that has a courtesy van, that we stayed for a month! Daily transient rate is a flat $30 regardless of size. We opted to pay the monthly transient fee of $350. We used the marina as a base to explore Fort Loudon and Tellico lakes. Don't miss Fort Loudon itself, it's a easy 20 mile cruise from the marina. It's the furthest west British fort ever built and dates to 1756. It's beautifully restored. 10 miles past the fort and your at the foot of the Great Smokey Mountains and the national park. We anchored up there, it's beautiful. Knoxville is a day cruise away from the marina as well.dont miss this marina.

Nice place to stay., 2015-07-24

pretty much what everyone else said

Super Friendly, 2015-03-20
Captain: , Knoxville, TN (30)

They met me at fuel dock, helped me fuel up and showed me to the transient docks. Nice showers and a dinner at Calhouns. Very freindly people that even offered to take our trash out to the dumpster.

First class in my book, 2014-10-02
Captain: , Florida (235)

Stopped here to fuel up (Gas 3.79pg)and stay overnight. $30 flat rate(we are 23ft), but worth every penny. Showers and laundry were awesome and staff friendly. Easy to rent a car from enterprise and we drove to Knoxville for items we needed for the trip.

Excellent Marina, 2014-09-22
Captain: , Louisville, KY (291)

I can't add too much to what's already been said except to put a later date on it to indicate that things haven't changed. Staff friendly and helpful. Wish I could have purchased more fuel because it is a pleasure to give establishments like this one my business.

Fabulous Marina, 2014-07-17
Captain: , Iuka ms (131)

Excellent facilities. Stopped to top off the tanks and pump out. $3.79 gal Diesel. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Stayed the night in one of the cleanest marinas we have been in. $30.00 flat fee. Great bathrooms with two showers in each. Very clean. Laundry facilities 3 washers $1.25 and 3 dryers $1.00.

One of the most secured marinas we have stayed at. They have two restaurants. One by marine office was closed the day we were there. Calhouns was also in the marina. Nice place.

We were able to use the courtesy car (very clean) to go into town and get provisions for the boat.

Park also at marina where you can walk your dogs. Highly recommend this marina.

One of the best marinas on the Tennessee River, 2014-06-16
Captain: , Punta Gorda FL (1709)

This is one of the best marinas on the Tennessee River. Reasonable price ($1/ft) with discounts for longer stay. Nice courtesy car and very helpful staff. Lenoir City has everyhting you need for provisioning and maintenance. Great place to leave the boat if you have to travel.

Much more than a marina...a community!, 2013-10-02
Captain: , Chapin, South Carolina (410)

An awesome marina near the lock. Great staff, great amenities including laundry, showers, courtesy car and more. Very inexpensive laundry and ice! Great people, many the live-a-board at the marina. A great community!

Great marina. All amenities you need., 2013-05-29
Captain: , Rarity Pointe Marina (132)

Moved my boat here in early 2013. It not only has all the necessary amenities, but also has a wonderful location and all the boaters who have slips here are wonderful. Pleasant for the quiet easygoers all the way to the partygoers. Calhouns being here is a plus, with live music on the summer weekends and wonderful dockside food.

THE place to be!, 2011-10-16
Captain: , Oneida, TN (415)

Having a 23' boat leaves us in the minority that would rather they charged per foot, rather than the flat $30, BUT Bret, Beverly and the rest of the folks went out of their way to make it a terrific stay. Combine that with use of the courtesy car and patio/grill, excellent restrooms/showers and security plus the just plain welcoming attitude of the locals and it's a bargain, any way you look at it!

Fort Loudon Marina, 2011-10-15
Captain: , Franklin Tn (441)

Super clean, well ran with friendly staff. Showers, laundry. Definantly one of the best.
Vol Navy staging then leaving during football season. Lots of parties, but everyone was super friendly.

Ft. Loudon Marina, 2011-09-29
Captain: , Winter Garden, Fl (2173)

Excellent marina - great people, Brett on the docks and Bev in the office. Nice people, great restaurants, excellent facilities - if you need a place to stop for a night, for a week or for a couple of months - this is the place to do so.

One of the best on the rivers, 2011-07-09
Captain: , North Palm Beach, FL (539)

New transient dock, $30 per night, any size vessel. Calhoun's Restaurant on site has good food and service. Ask for Cari Grayson as server. Great barbecue. Courtesy car available, old and AC does not work, but it is just a couple of miles to all the stores you are likely to need. This is a large marina with over 500 boats. I called ahead by cell phone for reservation. They do answer Channel 16 when close. It would be 5 star if it had pool and gym.

Nice stop, pleasant people and nice resturant, 2009-11-24

Captain: , Knoxville, TN (1788)

Truly a full-service Marina. Excellent for Transients. Two Restaurants on-site. City Park located next to Marina with playground equipment for the kids. Marine Repair on-site (Superior Marine) is excellent, quality work and fair pricing.

We have had our boat here for 6 months. Some of the nicest people around. Lots of shopping in nearby Knoxville and Tennessee River is beautiful. Showers alway clean!

Fort Loudon Marina, 2007-10-04
Captain: , St. Michaels, MD (61)

Great stay, friendly staff, nice wide transient docks but watch depths, you'll kick up mud. 2 Restraunts on site. Close to town and shipping but not within walking distance.

Great marina, but watch the depth in transient area., 2007-09-14
Captain: , Tellico Harbor, TN (49)

Love everything about this marina, but if you get relegated to the transient docks in the northwest corner of the dogbone end, then watch the depth very carefully especially at winter pool level.

Great place to stay, 2007-02-23
Captain: , Snellville, GA (162)

I kept my boat here for three months and plan to return. Well run and very well kept marina. Great food on location as well.
