Reviews for Flamingo Bay Hotel and Marina
An incredible value, 2017-06-16

Docks were in great shape and power worked well. There is a lot of activity at the marina with the ferry, dive/snorkel boats, and jet skis being moved from there to the beach where they rent them, but it wasn't a problem.

Having access to the Taino resort just a few minutes walk towards the beach was amazing. The only real negative is the bath and shower situation. They are in with the laundry equipment.

Refreshed Marina, an unknown jewel, 2017-05-28

Brand new docks after hurricane Matthew. It's too cheap to be true, but it is currently 50 cents a foot with full access to Taino Beach Resort with pool and grotto bar as well as beach. Dock master Terrance was great. Water at $5 a day unlimited was too good to pass up as well.

This can not be beat, 2016-07-24

A complete resort right aross the street that is part of the marina. Or the marina is part of the resort. The pool has a grotto style bar. The heads/showers have an unusual layout but workable.

Exceptional, 2016-03-27

Terrance runs a tight ship here at this small marina. Room for about five cruising boats and that's it. The resort over the road is the biggest draw. They have a white sandy beach that is stunning at sunrise. This place is ground zero for Freeport, because all the amenities are within a short walk. There is an hourly ferry that will take you to Port Lacaya where there are shops and restaurants galore with a casino. There is a shuttle bus to take you to the grocery store about 3 miles away. I have been cruising for a few years now and I would rate this place as the best I have ever been to.

High recommend !!!, 2016-01-08

The best overall marina in Port Lucaya.
520$/month plus 60$ water and 0.45$/Kwh (30% less than in Port Lucaya). Restroom and shower cleaned every morning. Good internet, beautiful beach 3 minutes walk away, huge pool with cave, grotto, etc. There is a water taxi to bring you to the Port Lucaya Square. There is a bus bringing you to Salomon (grocery shopping). Free rum punch Thu-Sun. Lots of activities such as bonfire, etc. Love the place so much I stayed 4 months! Highly recommend. If I didn't had plan to go to the Exumas in October, I would stay here longer.

More about Freeport / Grand Bahama: Prices at the Grocery shopping (Salomon) have gone down compare to last year and are similar to Fort Lauderdale prices.

Next stop is Great Harbour Cay in the Berrie Islands
