Reviews for Fiesta Key RV Resort
Nice restaurant, 2017-03-09
Captain: , Westerville (110)

Anchored at Jewfish Hole and used the dink to see this place. The only way to use their facilities legally was to pay for a tent camping site of $80.00! Yikes!

Then we discovered that the restaurant, Lobster Crawl, has 3 docks reserved, 36, 37 and 38. They are the worst docks in the marina but good enough for your dink. The restaurant has separate restrooms for its "patrons", is opens at 11 and has a great happy hour from 4-6.

Great facility, not for larger boats, 2017-02-18

Super friendly, has a typical camping store with most anything you need.

If you moor out it is a great relief....even propane...

No dockage but good to dingy into, 2017-02-18

This is a campground. The marina does not allow you to stay on your boat. We pulled in there with our dingy, walked around and ate at the resturant.

Too Shallow, 2014-01-19
Captain: , Southport, NC (716)

I called first and was informed that my 3.5 ft draft was too deep for this marina. Good thing. We docked at Sea Bird (just south) and walked to the only restuarant. I saw what the marina looks like. Its mainly for fishing boats that travel there and spend the night and keep thier boat in the water. Not too meantion, loud music and lots of activity. Just anchor out. Dont even call the number.

Basic services, old Florida charm, 2013-07-19
Captain: , MA and Southwest FL (538)

Staff were friendly and helpful. The facility is older and common areas need updating. The docks are aged but workable. The boat ramp is tight for a long boat (26' and up) at low tide as it T-bones into a seawall behind it.

We used this facility as a launching point for our KW trip in Fall 2012. They allowed us to use the ramp, dock for a night, and keep our tow rig and trailer secured there while we explored the keys for a few days. The staff was very accomodating for us.

Can't stay here, 2012-02-21
Captain: , Charlestown (946)

I tried to get a slip here, but was told they do not have electric or water and it is only for people that have boats that are camping at the facility.

Family oriented facility Extreemly well protected basin, 2011-01-26

Very friendly and helpful staff. New ownership by a company that oerates several other locations will likely up grade this location. This is one of our favorite places to stop, especially the ability to fill your propane tanks within 50 feet of your boat.
Wife enjoys the huge swimming pool and hot tub. There is a playground for the kids.
The only thing that keeps this from being a five star location is the fact that there have been several changes in ownership in the pass few years and matainance suffered. I feel sure that the new company is both experienced and financaly able to take advantage of this diamond in the rough.
