Reviews for Falmouth Yacht Haven
Lovely secluded little marina., 2015-03-16
Captain: , Milford Haven UK (35)

This marina is not cheap, expect to pay around 3 a meter in the summer, but the facilities are great and there is lots of places to explore a short walk away. Electric, water, hot showers and new facilities are 5* for sure.

Good Location, Warm Welcome, 2013-03-27
Captain: , Conwy, N. Wales (13850)

Falmouth is very easy to enter and the Yacht Haven (or "Visitor's Yacht Haven") is easy to find and very convenient for town. The harbour is an interesting and busy place, with commercial and military vessels in the docks opposite, local dinghy sailing in the harbour area and plenty of traffic even in March. We were moored on the outside of the main spine, and a slight chop was present throughout (we had Easterlies) but it wasn't unpleasant. Note that during summer months the whole marina is open to visitors, not just the outer spine. We made the mistake of not taking a mobile ashore so were briefly stuck when there was noone in the kiosk but we soon found the HM (walk around the harbour to the left) and they were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful, giving us everything we needed to know. The facilities were modern and clean, and walking off the pontoon takes you straight into town, past the Chain Locker pub which is basically as far as we got! Good beer, good food (especially the fish dishes) and friendly staff.
